Memphis moves on from Ja and Ja gets a chance to rebuild his career in Brooklyn. Memphis gets a shot at one of the PG's in this draft (Acuff), and has the expiring deal of MPJ coming off the books, with the chance to extend him with his Bird rights. Memphis has 3 picks in 2027, so they can afford to come off of one without giving up their own.
Brooklyn receives their new PG in Morant, a serviceable wing in Wells, a draft pick at #16 and gets back into the First round in Next Year's draft, since they don't have their own pick.
