Just read the news of a young tech passing away due to a tire exploding. I wanted to know from people who have more experience with tires, is there a risk to inflating a brand new tire at the correct psi?

The news said it was brand new tire and the tech is 20 years old and The business owner said it was a freak accident and there was no way to prevent it??
