I have a KA24DE swap in a 620 pickup with a 1996 ECU and a Wiring Specialties PRO harness. The harness has both the Consult plug and the OBD ll plug. I’m trying to diagnose a no spark situation and my thinking is bite the bullet and get the software and a cable. The best I can figure is I need NDS l and a Consult cable. I’m thinking of the PLMS Developments from Concept Z Performance. Kind of pricy but I tend to be a buy once cry once kind of person. I’m just trying to get an idea if I’m making a mistake.

This is a swap into a 620 pickup.

Ran fine when I parked it 2 days ago. Went to pull it out of the shop yesterday and wouldn’t fire. I’m not super familiar with the KA24de so forgive me if I screw up this description. The distributor has an internal coil and a CAS. It has a Wiring Specialties Pro harness. When I turn the key on the pump primes. Testing the voltage on the CAS Distributor, pin 2 Black/Yellow has 12V. Pin 6, which is White/Black is from I have read supposed to have 12V is 0V. Also I have 0V on the injector 12V wires. I have no spark. When I crank it over the tach doesn’t move either. I have checked all of the fuses that I could find and all are good. Battery is fully charged but voltage while cranking drops down to 10.5V. Not sure what the threshold is on that voltage. Thanks, Derek
