Passenger seat Airbag cable fault
Hi, I'm wondering if anyone who has an Elroq or Enyaq for that Matter has had a problem with a cable fault underneath the passenger seat carpet. I've had an Airbag fault light and took it to the Skoda garage where they discovered the cable had broken under the carpet. The technician has said it is rodent damage, the car was 2 months old when the light came on. To me as an ex engineer, there is no sign of rodent. The area beneath the break is clean, there are no bite marks, they said the sheath was frayed highlighting that it had been chewed. In fact it has just not been taped and none of it is missing. I'm not getting very far with the dealership who are adamant it's rodent and therefore not warranty. Has anyone else had a problem with this cable, it's been trapped and twisted by the looks of it. Would welcome your feedback.
