Anyone know what these lights are?

Anyone know what these lights are?

They’re on a Merc rigid, won’t come on and no one in the yard knows what they are but they say as I’ve got my DRLs, side lights and main beams all running it doesn’t matter. Can’t find a button or switch anywhere that turns them on.

UPDATE!!!

So, since my last post I found the nuts to get out on my scooter more and it’s starting to get easier surprisingly quickly! Been bozzing around Liverpool the last couple days and finding my confidence climbing to the point where I’m actively wanting to get out and ride, rather than dreading it! Thanks to everyone for your support on my last post; it’s helped massively!!!

SIDE NOTE: if any of you were around Liverpool on Sunday just gone we may have seen each other as I passed a few scooterists and we gave each other a little nod. Guessing there was an event on?

Should I Give Up?

Hesitant to even post this, but I think I need to hear what people think. I’ve been driving class 2 just over a year now and keep having little scrapes here and there, things like clipping a wing mirror on a tree, once caught a car’s tail light with my tail swing as I misjudged a turn. I’ve had a few mistakes like fuel card issues too, though I kind of maintain that wasn’t my fault as it wasn’t explained clearly. I’m always honest about it, and I know a lot of drivers I’ve worked with just say nothing, but it’s just making me feel like I’m a shit truck driver and I shouldn’t be in the job though. Am I right or is this just par the course? I should add I have ADHD so sometimes that’s a contributing factor, though I’m not gonna act as if that should let me off the hook.

Am I an idiot? Tyre pressure question.

I know the answer is probably yes by default, but hear me out! Last week on my ride back home I was shitting myself the whole way as it felt like I had no grip. I’d checked the tyre pressure before I left the house and it was 34 on both, and like an idiot I thought ‘Close enough!’ not thinking it would go up as the wheels heated up! 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️ I’m thinking that’s partly why it felt so floaty, but could anyone confirm? I’m thinking of running them at 30 front and 32 back moving forward, for a slightly bigger contact patch at the front, but is even that too high? It’s a Keeway Versilia, so I’d say about the same size and weight as most standard scooters ie not maxis. Thoughts (and prayers) appreciated.

I won a battle today!

After a spill a while back that left me with a broken elbow, I managed to complete a 14 mile ride from home over to Parkgate on the Wirral. It was scary as hell and I think my “leisurely pace” upset a few drivers, but I made it and it feels like a big win. Now I just have to get back again…
