Does anybody know exactly what a big bright green pleasure machine is or what the device in the song is supposed to represent?

I have read that Paul Simon wrote the song while washing his clothes in a laundromat and he was watching them in the washing machine.

As the story goes, Dave Walker's contributions to the album Penguin were very limited, and he spent more time drinking in the local pub than working on the album, something which he has attributed partially to martial issues.

Did this happen during the basic track sessions at Benifold or during the subsequent overdubbing, mixing and editing sessions at AIR Studios in London?

Do the rights to the Decca audition tape reside with Universal Music or are they in the public domain?

I know that the rights to the Tony Sheridan records likely reside with Universal Music, which owns the rights to the Polydor catalogue, and there have been, per Discogs, a plethora of unauthorised vinyl releases of the Decca audition.

I have been thinking about Jimi doing a hypothetical acoustic album in the same vein as Led Zeppelin III had he lived - you know, to showcase a different side to him.

I've just been watching the Lost Bass documentary on YouTube and I noticed that Klaus Voormann is not looking too well.

He mentions that he cannot play bass or guitar anymore due to problems with his left hand preventing him from playing chords or making a fist, plus his speech is slurred a bit and he looks a little frail - he is 87 years old, mind you, but still, it's very sad to see him not looking great.

Did he have a stroke or has he got arthritis?

Did Steve Marriott ever meet or cross paths with Ronnie Wood or Rod Stewart or give his opinions on The Faces - if so, where or when?
