Hi,

As an artist new to pen and ink, is there a resource available to steer me towards a good "starting set" of vintage nibs. I've come across the Gillott 303 in Guptil's book on pen and ink but it would be great to have a vintage encyclopedia that talks about the flex, tip size, etc. I only have experience with Speedball nibs currently and want to expand to some vintage ones. I heard the new Gillott have some QC issues so not sure they would give me a great experience.

As I've aged my arthritis flares up when using a standard size dip pen. Anyone have suggestions on styles or brands to try?
