What was your single most expensive individual coaster credit? [other]

Here's an interesting question:
What was the single most expensive individual coaster "credit" you paid for? (not counting travel costs - just the admission and/or ride ticket cost.)
Let's break this down into two categories:

  1. Only coaster in the Park
  2. You had all the other credits, but just needed the one (I'm sure there will be a lot more of those in the higher range)

Again, I want to stress that this does NOT include travel costs, since that could dramatically inflate the costs. I was more curious about what the most people have paid for JUST the coaster and/or park admission. But, for fun, let's include a third category:
3) including travel costs.

This came up when a friend posted about hitting his 2500th credit (congrats!) at Peppa Pig Park in Texas, a park that's pretty expensive for adults and only has one kiddie coaster credit. It got me thinking about what my most expensive credit was. And it seemed like an interesting question to crowd source.

I'm not sure what mine would be, but if I had to guess, it might be the Snoopy kiddie coaster at Universal Studios Japan, back in 2005, when it was the only coaster credit there. I'm not sure how much we paid to get in back then, but I'm guessing it was somewhere around $50.

We barely made it, arriving around an hour before closing after a long day at the now-defunct Osaka Expoland with ACE and the ECC, and a side trip to Kobe Portopialand, weeks before it closed for good.

I'm sure for category 2, I probably have a few that were more than that (probably at a Disney park!)

I just called guest services to try to get some answers about the Stay and Scream situation. I told them about the conflicting emails that people are getting from their reps. They asked me to ask anyone who's gotten and/or shared emails about this to forward the email(s) you've gotten about this to the guest services team at uogc@universalorlando.com so they can look into who is saying what, and where they got their information. (Do some reps have information that other don't? Are some of their people sending misinformation?) Thanks!

Well, we have our answers about Stay and Scream. They've been aware of the confusion and chaos among the fandom, and are starting to answer the questions, individually, although they haven't posted any public official statement yet. But this is the first time they've officially acknowledged that Stay and Scream is even happening in 2026, much less given any details.

Unfortunately, you only get access at 2PM to the 3 early houses if you buy a Scream Early ticket. But we can get in the queues for a "participating house" starting at 4PM. (They're not saying if those are same or different from the 2-5PM houses or what time they'll open.)

They're also now saying that the event starts at 6PM, not 6:30, even though the official website still says 6:30. That's good for people without day tickets or APs, but bad for those of us with them!

Multiple people have gotten basically the same answers from Universal reps via email, replies, and phone calls at this point. So, it seems to be the official answer. For now, at least. They could always decide to change things if they don't sell as many of various tickets as expected, or if they have staffing problems, or if there's a backlash.

The only remaining questions I can think of are whether these three early houses are "participating houses" for the 4-6PM access, and if we'll be able to enter during that time (either at 4 or 5PM.) And if they'll ALSO open other houses starting at 5PM on a staggered basis, like they did last year. I'm guessing that we likely won't get concrete answers to these questions until the event starts, and people report back to us.

So, on the plus side, those of us with day tickets or APs are getting at least as much as last year, and potentially a bit earlier entry to these three house and or maybe more. On the down side, no we don't get access to them at 2PM, unless we pay extra. But I think most of us realized deep down (even if we didn't want to admit it) that they weren't giving us a perk they're charging over $70 for free.
