First off, one final reminder that when this gets officially announced, please let the mods post and pin it. There is even a slight chance that Universal themselves will post it on here and, if they do, I'll remove the mod post and pin Universal's post on it.

As for the answer(s) to the riddle - those will get posted later this afternoon a few hours after the announcement (this is my standard operating procedure and I'll get into why later today in that recap post). But, suffice it to say, it wasn't the most difficult riddle to suss out - and many of you did a fantastic job of finding the clues...so well done there.

What a disaster these past couple of days have been. So, my wife gets an idea in her head that she wants to remodel the kitchen because ours looks extremely old and run-down. So, we start by packing up all the dishes, glasses, pots, pans, and utensils, which took over 2 hours - and, to be able to maneuver around the house, we had to stack the boxes of goods as high as the eyes could see.

Our friend who does this for a living shows up early in the evening - so I invite him in and hand him a glass of wine before I show him everything she wanted done. He looked it all over and quickly gave me a list of items to grab at the local hardware store before it closed. So, I started racing up the road, but got stuck at the railroad tracks for what felt like an eternity before reaching my destination and grabbing the items listed.

By the time I got home, it was dusk (shortly after 7:30), and I was starving. Luckily, my wife had cooked us all some food while I was away - so I brought the materials into the house, and quickly chowed down on the mound of food I piled on my plate before getting to work with my friend.

We worked late until the evening, got up at dawn, and started really grinding on the project. By late-afternoon, we had a completely revamped kitchen! However, when my wife got home from her day out with friends, she took one look and said we built everything backwards!!! I was already exhausted from all the work we put in, and that realization had me instantly seeing red, so I stormed out of the house without saying a word.

I drove down to the water's edge and sat on a bench overlooking the river. I just zoned out there basking in the moonlight with this overwhelming feeling that I can't win for losing no matter what I do.

Eventually, we corrected the error and everything was fine, but man those couple of days were very strange and exhausting!

With a new house being announced tomorrow and it being speculated to be an IP i was curious if the parks release the merch right at park open or if it happens right when they officially announce it

Apparently WB still owns the Theme Park rights for DC in Florida, and Universal’s Marvel Contract doesn’t say anything about being exclusively Marvel except at Superhero island. WB rights to DC that are available are Florida and Las Vegas only though.

I'm looking to stay at a universal property this year and I've been leaning towards the Aventura. Excuse my ignorance as I'm not familiar with the pricing but could I expect the prices to drop in the coming months? Or would it be best to book now. Staying for 5 nights it seems to be around 325-350 a night on average currently. Any info is appreciated. Thank you!

I was thinking about the upcoming refresh of the Horror Makeup Show, wondering what it was going to look like. Pondering that since CGI seems to be the prevalent method of special effects now, what the show will talk about. Then the thought occurred to me that there is an obvious source of practical effects, makeup, and horror right there. Halloween Horror Nights. Hell, Jack and the Caretaker are already in the lobby of the show. What are the chances that the Horror Makeup Show features Halloween Horror Nights? Would it be too self-serving of Universal to feature their own event in the show? I'm kind of torn. I think it could be a great source of effects, makeup, and design. But it would be very easy for it to come off as an ad for themselves.

Going to my first HHN this year and was just curious to see if there’s any close interactions with tarantulas / big spiders.

Feel like if I’m in close proximity with fat spiders it’s just send me under and I’d probs have to leave.

I understand it’s obviously a scare event therefore this could be a silly question but would rather know before hand.
