This morning my city had a pretty significant power outage to a entire area. I live in that area so I chose not to sit in the dark and drive to the part of the city still lit.

I then proceed to consistently get slapped with orders right in my neighborhood where I know the power is out. My lazy ass just declined them cause I couldn't be bothered to drive to stores that I knew had no power but it got me thinking.

Is there a restaurant has no power option in the app? I truthfully never looked. Also if there is do you get half pay or anything by choosing that? Anyone ever run into that?

Just stopping in to say hi to my lions family. How's the off-season treating you. Personally I've been watching a ton of basketball and working way too much. On top of my normal 8-5 I started doordashing. How's everything in your world my friends? And as always...

Just wanted to stop in and say hi to all my Kings family. How you doing? As for myself I've been watching the playoffs, bitching about the cost of gas and working a ton. I am pulling for a Thunder vs Knicks final. Anyway what's going on with you.

So im in the middle of getting a few huge trees cut down and it should be done tomorrow and let me start with saying they do great work.

I went with a company the neighbor had hired. The owner came over while his guys were doing work on their house gave me a quote and I went with it.

His guys did a amazing job on my neighbor and promptly started my work. Now here's where it gets wierd. I head outside to get the mail and the guys working call me over and want to talk about the payment. Cause the owner hasnt paid them in weeks and promises to pay them when I pay. I say I got the money and as soon as your done I plan on paying the owner. They say how bout we finish then they will call the owner have him come over you can then pay in front of them cause the owner has been telling them other jobs haven't paid when they have found out they did.

Then tonight at 8pm after the guys leave for the night the owner calls me to ask about the check and I say I have it as soon as your guys are done. He then says call me when they leave and ill come by. The owner seems shady as hell (not just this interaction) but I did contact his company so I'll pay him. I believe his guys that they haven't been paid. I kinda feel bad for them. Its a wierd situation where these guys who are doing amazing work appear not to be getting paid and the owner trying to play a story that his clients aren't paying.

Like I said I'll pay the owner it was his company that I contracted but I feel bad for these guys.

I live in north little rock. West coast kid that moved here 5 years ago so my wife can be near family. I left all my family and friends back out west and outside of her family been alone for these last 5 years.

I work from home and really all I seem to do is work. Outside of the occasional meal, concert or sporting event i dont get out. Im pushing 50 and I know I just need to get out more and meet folks. I wasn't isolated like this before I moved.

I am a man of a 1000 interests and do a little dabbling in everything but I tend to lean into the nerdier side of life. Working out and exercise are not my ideas of fun. While I do them I don't see it as a hobby I see it as a need cause im getting older. Don't get me wrong. If you love your hiking club go for it but that isn't my idea of a fun Saturday.

I just want some ideas of where to go looking. I have no problem doing the leg work im just looking for some ideas of some starting points to start my journey of going outside more.
