terrified of drilling a massive hole through our stucco exterior

Hey dads, my central cooling has been incredibly weak all summer so I am taking matters into my own hands by putting a supplemental mini split heat pump in the master suite. I ordered a costway seextreme 12000 btu 24 seer2 mini split because I wanted the highest efficiency rating I could get for the price. I was excited until I looked at the installation manual and saw I need to drill a 3 inch hole completely through our stucco wall for the line set. For those of you who aren't professional tradesmen, how did you get over the mental hurdle of cutting a giant, permanent hole in the side of your house without being terrified of causing massive water damage later?

managing start up demand on a two-zone split

We just upgraded our battery banks to transition a massive outbuilding over to electric climate control. A single ducted system won't work well due to the layout, so I'm planning out a multi-head ductless heat pump system. I am specifically reviewing the power curves on a costway x-pro 27000 btu 2 zone 24 seer2 mini split. If I stagger the thermostat calls, does the outdoor compressor pull dual startup loads, or does the inverter gracefully spool up regardless of how many indoor heads activate? I really cannot afford to trip the bms under a high thermal load in august.

Affordable office software for documents and spreadsheets?

I need office software for freelance work but want to keep my monthly expenses low.

Most of my work involves writing proposals, creating invoices, tracking payments, and reviewing PDFs. Clients often send Microsoft Office files, so compatibility matters more than having every advanced feature.

I am considering WPS Office because the basic suite is free and includes Writer, Spreadsheet, Presentation, and PDF. I could upgrade later if I start needing advanced PDF editing or more cloud storage.

Has anyone used the free version for freelance or administrative work over a longer period? I would rather choose one dependable suite now than keep moving files between several free apps.
