True Surf VR - wave graphics upgrade and a new beach

I haven't played it in a while but i used some old footage to compare the graphics and grinded Hossegor to unlock the new beach which...I dunno... looks nice but it seems to be really long waves? Curious if anyone in this community has played it, there's no discord and the other discords I'm on no ones played it. I don't get motion sickness anymore but I think that's from getting used to it playing it in 3rd person mode. I'm really impressed by how the water and the waves look in all the environments

Flatout 4 VR: played this all weekend, this is my favourite map!

Gives me Arizona Sunshine vibes, shame there isn't zombies roaming around you could hit with your car though. Anyway I found myself grinding this map a lot in time trial mode to earn 1.4k every 2 minutes and I didn't get bored - you really learn the map and figure out what can and can't be driven through and there's lots of shortcuts on the track and different ways to go.

I'm not playing this with a steering wheel, just lounging on the couch using the quest controllers by my side. Sometimes debris makes it impossible to see but slam the brakes or steer sharp to clear it.

If you spin out or crash you just press Y to teleport back and keep going. If it's truly too hard to see there's a minimap showing you how the track goes and where the other cars are and driving without seeing in vr gives me this crazy sensation of putting blind faith in luck and memory. It's really a 'anything could happen' type of race - and I've seen people complain that the ai crashes into them but that's what makes it so fun AND you get boost from it. There's an option to turn off the shake but I find it adds to the immersion.

Anyway anyone else been grinding this? The quarterback is my favourite vehicle so far

Flatout VR feels great!

I don't usually do PCVR because I'm not that into good graphics I prefer good gameplay but with content creators calling it their possible game of the year I had to get it. This video is what 10 minutes of trying out the game quickly is like...immediate fun and chaos. Just for fun I also stood up and walked out of the car to see what that was like but pausing blurs everything so I'd probably have to dodge cars when they lap me

semi open world but i really love running through the sewer, climbing up the ladder to the city then climbing up to the roof tops. I found i can dash then jump to get around pretty fast too. Oh I love how when climbing your leg follows your non-grip hand. How's everyone else enjoying it?

As a video game it's fantastic, as a vr game it's weirdly old school like objects you expect to knock out the way your hand passes through and you have to press grip and your hands disappear. Apparently it can be finished it less than 3 hours but nothing (so far) over stays it's welcome and moments like this are awesome. The triangle hood can't be removed sadly - bad for recording but it's a hood not a vignette (if it animated a bit when you turned your head that would have been cool). I have no idea what's going on plot wise, it's like a weird fever dream, and the sensation of being small is incredible (a bit like a fishermans tale). I wonder if it will sell well though.
