Hello 👋 I think the person who sent me this card, got Dutch and Deutsch mixed up 😅 unfortunately my German isn't that good and I only understand about half of it 🙈 anyone who can help me get the full text? Thank you!

I recieved more cards than I had due. But I am so glad for them, as they brightened such a difficult week. My grandpa passed away, my dad ended up in hospital with a cardiac event and my tooth extraction went wrong. The bone is exposed and inflamed and hurts so much

Seeing these postcards come in one by one, so thoughtfully chosen and with wonderful words made a bad week just that much brighter and I'm so grateful for it. Postcrossing is a wonderful community

Lucky find on facebook marketplace. Someone sold a collection focussed on flora and fauna and thats the stamps I enjoy collecting too. Sorting through the books has given a lot of joy so far. Lots of new stamps, some doubles, some (to me) very interesting finds that I've highlighted

First the Spaniel stamp from RASD. some ebay listings had it as high as €3.50. which probably makes it the most valuable stamp in my collection. Value is not what I'm after, just thought its a fun fact

Next the Turkiye stamps. I already had the yellow one, the blue and green one joined. I just found them really cool

The next two of the Mandril and Cheeta belong to states in the Gulf, that are now united in the United Arab Emirates. I enjoy history and the forming and going of new countries and states, even different kinds of governments is such an interesting thing reflected in stamps

There was a North Korean stamp 😱 If the info I found was right, there should be a bunch out there but thats pretty cool

And the last one is, if I'm correct, my first cinderella stamp. South Maluku never made it as an independent state. It is considered a cinderella, as it was produced by an unrecognised postal authority.

A little while ago I did a trade and a bunch of Japanese stamps joined my collection. I love them all, they're gorgeous. But I was drawn to the wheelchair stamp, as I am a wheelchair user. Its my very first wheelchair stamp. I know postnl also has stamps that feature a wheelchair in the design but one hasnt made it my way yet, and I hope to get it through post haha

A bit of research learned its a stamp from 1989 featuring the Far East and Pacific South games for disabilities which were hosted in Japan

Writing together with my sibling on the grass in the garden 🌟✨️We both started postcrossing around the same time and its so fun to share the hobby together

So far, 7 of my cards have gone to the US. Interestingly enough, the 3 cards that were sent in an envelope arrived after around 2 weeks. The 4 I sent without? All expired. Does USPS make a difference in cards sent with and without envelope? Or would it be coincidence?

I saw the art collage in the upper right corner that got the ball rolling. I just loved that picture so much. Then I went on a hunt for letters and saw all these pictures that I liked and I ended up with enough material for 4 cards. A lot of profiles ask for local cards, which are basically nonexistent here. But whats more local than collage cards made of the local paper?

I'll see if the right profile ever pops up (I know not everyone likes handmade) but I had a lot of fun making them so I don't mind haha

I went out for some international stamp to send some postcrossing cards, and these stamps were in a display poster in the postoffice. I found them so cute I took a set home with me to add to my collection

So excited for them to arrive! I love the yellow postbox! Also can we just gush a bit over the Petit Prince stamps 😱🥹 they're so incredibly cute, I bought a set just to add them to my stamp collection haha

I found a bunch of nice cards in a thriftshop. Some are a bit on the thin side so I'll safe those for folks who don't mind an envelope. But 2 have me wondering if they're still okay to send? I have read somewhere that cards shouldn't be moldy. For top right I don't know if it is mold or just a bit of age. Bottom right is a tad on the yellow side. Can I still send those two out?

Hello 👋 I recently got my hands on 500 unsorted stamps, including a lot of German ones. I am trying to gather info on these stamps and was hoping anyone who knows them could help out. I don't think the composers set and the womens set are complete. Do you know which stamps are missing and possibly where I could get them?

And I was wondering if the castle set is complete? I haven't found any others in the unsorted stamps. If not, which are missing?

I'm still a beginner. Not looking for worth, I just collect stamps I enjoy. Interests so far around nature, women, history etc. So I'm still struggling a bit where to find info, especially when the info I find is German and my German isn't that good 😅 Thank you for reading and thank you for your time!
