Pause deadlift PR! 455 lb x 3 @ 168.8 lb. M41
My pause deadlifts keep climbing. This was my second deadlift session of the week, and the second 455 triple of the week (the first one was regular and not paused).

Happy to get this despite it being my 4th straight training day this week, since I had to drop my midweek rest day to make everything fit after getting back from backcountry camping on Monday.
9 weeks ago was my first time doing this movement and I got 325 lb. 100 lb increase and climbing in 9 weeks ain't too shabby! Especially for my 3rd deadlift training session of the week.
This was supposed to be a RPE 8. I've been consistently undershooting it since I'm not very good with rpe, but the weight has kept going up, so something's working.
This was my 4th deadlift session of the week, and my 17th deadlift set of the week. Nice to grab a PR all things considered!
Got a brand new 10 rep max on deadlift for a new lifetime PR. I was trending close to hitting some prs recently, so it's nice to finally grab one. In looking at the video, I think I may have given up 1 rep too early, but this is still not bad.
I'm nearly done with my base building, and will be switching over to a strength realization phase soon. Should be "fun".
If I had only gotten 2 more reps it would have been an all time PR, but I think I ran out of lungs unfortunately. Regardless, this projects out well for when I start my intensification block.
I've also got a 3 day squash tournament coming up, and being able to to do this many reps and this much volume while still playing sports, I think speaks to the wide base I've been building, and that's pretty cool.
I'm currently on a volumization and intensification phase and my higher rep fitness is coming back! This was very nearly an all time PR for me, and I'm sure I'll grab one of those in the coming weeks.
