Working in retail during COVID-19
I’m watching the show for the first time, and now I’ve reached the pandemic episodes. It honestly brought me right back to when I was working retail in 2020–2021. Some scenes might seem exaggerated, but it really was like that. People refusing to follow safety rules, making a mess in the store… I worked in a clothing store, and when the fitting rooms were closed, people would literally start getting undressed in the middle of the store.
Working in retail is already hard, but during Covid it was on another level. It required endless patience, emotional energy, and dealing with stress almost every single day.
So honestly, respect to everyone who worked customer service and retail during that time and somehow made it through 💪🏻
