I work in retail. My availability is already getting slashed because of my partner's new work schedule, so I will only be available 4hrs (realistically 3) per day. Now I have been informed I'll need to see the doctor every 1-2 weeks, and my job requires at least 3 weeks' notice for any requested time off.

I was told by management that I will need to find someone to cover every single one of these days that come up because they will still count towards my absences otherwise.

So far, with changing my availability, I'm thinking about leaving Mondays and Thursdays blank so I can potentially schedule appointments on those days - but there's still a chance those days conflict with my partner's schedule week to week. They have to have open availability and can't really request off as easily as I can, both because we need the money and because their workplace just generally isn't as lenient. Their schedule updates weekly, so we generally don't know their off-days until last minute.

The real kicker is that they're my ride for everything. There are busses, but they can arrive and drop you off within an hour of the scheduled time. We have one car and I don't have a license yet (long story). Our car is also not drivable for me - it lacks power steering, can't be ran with AC without it dying, etc. (We are working on a replacement, but it will take some time.)

Getting another job is unfortunately out of the question since this is the only place that reliably hires nearby, and one of the only places I can walk to/from in a pinch.

So... what do I do? Any advice welcome.

Her name is Heather. She's 50 years old, 5'8, and has a brown dog named Tucker. She has greying blonde hair and blue eyes. She doesn't have a car. This may be a longshot, I'm just hoping anyone might know something. It's been 41 days since her phone was last charged enough for me to see her general location on Life360. I plan to post on Facebook too, but I don't know how successful that will be.

I want to get her somewhere safe and I really want to tell her about my pregnancy - she's going to be a grammie to twins and she'll be so excited. She would never intentionally stop talking to me. I miss her so much. If you know anything, please let me know.

EDIT: SHE HAS BEEN FOUND! Someone showed her my Facebook post and she was able to get in contact with me. I am SO relieved.
