Is Seventh Day Adventist a True Church?

I believe the Seventh-day Adventist Church is a true church because it is grounded in the Bible as the final authority. My faith is not built on human tradition but on scripture, and I see the church as calling people back to what God originally revealed in His word.

I keep the seventh day Sabbath because I believe it was established by God at creation and written in the Ten Commandments. I see Jesus also keeping the Sabbath, and I understand it as a lasting command for all believers, not something changed by human authority.

I also believe strongly in the soon return of Jesus Christ. The message of Christ coming again is central to my faith, and I see the church’s mission as preparing people spiritually for that event through repentance, obedience, and hope in God’s promises.

Health and lifestyle are also important to me as part of worship. I believe the body is the temple of God, so I try to live in a way that reflects that belief through healthy habits, discipline, and avoiding things that harm physical and spiritual well being.

I respect the role of Ellen G. White because I believe her writings help guide believers back to scripture and strengthen faith in God’s word. However, I do not place her writings above the Bible, since the Bible remains the highest standard.

From my understanding, a true church is not defined by popularity or size but by faithfulness to God’s word. That is why I believe the Seventh-day Adventist Church stands as a true church, because it seeks to follow scripture, uphold the commandments of God, and point people to Jesus Christ.
