Hi all

I am going to look at and hopefully buy my first Rickenbacker tomorrow. A 4003 in Midnight blue has come available used at a seemingly good price.

I have lusted after one for years. I played a particular nice playing one earlier this year while travelling (unfortunately it sold before I could get the money together).

Can anyone give me any advice or things to look out for besides the obvious does it play and sound good.

Any help appreciated its a lot of money, so I'd like to make sure I've done as much research done as possible.
