FLX4 - Won’t connect when on external power…
This is the opposite to most of the posts I see on this subject…
My FLX4 used to work with an external 3A supply attached and connected to my MS Surface Pro 10. It also works without external power just fine, but runs the PC battery down if not plugged in, as you would expect.
Last night, I plugged it into power and then opened Rekordbox. FLX4 lights up as usual. Once RB loaded, plugged the FLX4 into the PC. The lights were still on, the PC recognised the FLX4 but none of the controls worked. I unplugged external power and it all worked fine…
I also tried plugging in the external power after the FLX4 is connected to the PC. The unit works but I have constant low audio in the headphones from the master track, despite having all the cue buttons off.
Any ideas what is going on?
