Waiting for results

Hi! My dad was diagnosed a few years ago, but I had no idea what it was and he didn't seem concerned.

Now, I'm waiting patiently to see my results from the Alpha 1 foundation after finding out how serious it can be. Part of me is hoping for an explanation for my "unexplained" shortness of breath, extreme fatigue and GI issues. I was told I had allergy induced asthma as a child, but...I'm suspicious.

Anyway, happy I stumbled upon this sub while I wait.

Should I return to my old company for less pay?

I left my job after 9 years due to wanting to stay home and care for my kids. It was remote and I liked it mostly plus the pay was good.

2 years later and I'm looking to return to work. I reached out to my old manager because they had told me they'd love to have me back...and they do, but there's a catch.

The starting pay for my old position is now $10 less per hour than what I was making when I left. Theyre not sure there's any way around that...but they said if I just start, then I can potentially move up or wait for raises.

That's crazy, right? It's a great job for me in that it fits my life and is flexible plus I'm good at it...I'm so torn

Hi all,

I'm 6 months postpartum and decided to work with a trainer (3rd baby in 5 years).

I really fell off the wagon this pregnancy and have a lot of rebuilding to do. I basically stopped working out at 8 weeks (i know, lame). The trainer has me doing box jumps, plank variations, other core focused stuff, jumping jacks, etc.

I have mentioned a few times that I don't think I'm ready to jump and my core is weak, but she pushes me to do all of the exercises.

I'm starting to feel like I'm doing damage to my body (feeling heaviness in pelvic area, stomach seems to be more pushed out than before), but obviously I dont want to tell her how to do her job or seem lazy.

Thoughts?
