Is this the “new” way activating chatgpt pro?
Context: I wanted to avail chatgpt pro from a seller online (in fb). I intend to use it for academic purposes only and a basis for my research. However, while conversing with the seller, she would guide me upon logging in. Her way of promoting the price of chatgpt pro on her page was misleading enough, as she never mentioned that there’s an additional process of “scanning” an activation code from her. I have already paid ₱250 accordingly. And apparently we would make use of a “qr ph third party app”… and that there should be a “minimum” balance daw kuno and TAKE A HARSH NOTE, that the “minimum” balance is ₱899…
From then on, I felt something off about this transaction and I wanted to cancel it immediately. I asked for my refund, but she never returned it. Upon further researching, I deeply realized it was a scam. Or am I wrong? Who else has experienced this with other sellers who offer digital services? Such as chatgpt pro, canva pro, and grammarly pro? And if there are other credible and legitimate sellers, kindly let me know and share. Thank you!
