I followed the GW recipe but it doesn't pop or look a lot like the box art. Something is wrong/missing. The red us also basically orange ,despite it being mephiston red and nuln oil.

Any ideas?

I'm also interested in a more grey scheme as it just doesn't feel very contrasty.
