So I have been back and forth trying to figure out my scheme for black Templar. I had eventually landed on this guy, but it just wasn't doing it for me. I couldn't quite figure out how to get some depth into black armour without it ending up just looking grey with black shadow.

Today I just drowned him in some drakenhof nightshade and I couldn't be happier. Really brings out the darker tones while keeping the highlight. But it also gives the model a much more menacing look which I feel fits the Templars so much better.

I got this wolf priest because I’m trying to make a chaplain like the one this other guy made (I’m sorry I don’t know his username but a picture is attached.) I wanted the head to put on my blade guard ancient and I figured I could easily turn the rest of the priest into a marshal but I have no solid plans for him yet. Give me some cool ideas fellas.

I've been painting toward the goal of having an army to play with my mates when 11th comes out. This week I've finished my Outriders and their Chaplain, and the first 5 minis for my Assault Intercessors. The Judiciar isn't done yet, but I figured I'd include it as a WiP.

This is my 1000 list for my favorite detachment Godhammer assault force. Is it good or should I change anything?

I had a lot of fun with this one. I think a few little odd bits and Kit bashes can make all the difference. My Crux Terminatus set is coming along nicely. I also added a filthy iron warrior, one of Perturabo’s scum in the dirt where he belongs.

I feel like the lips are too bright let me know pls

Been working on a test model trying to develop my recipe for my first 40K army. I plan on putting pigment powder on the legs, and maybe adding some chipping to the armour. C&C welcome

The last guy in the sword brethren box didn’t look castellan enough in thought so I made him into a marshal instead. Now gives me an excuse to get the classic castellan next! Still working on my NMM it’s been fun learning!

Kitbashed Marshall and chaplain

How would you guys feel about this veteran with an imperial fist tilt shield, in my head id like to think that hes either an ex imperial fist or hes honouring his founding chapter. How do you guys think and how lore accurate this is?
