I watched MauLer on open bar and his rage vid about Spiderman and he’s 100% right. It’s a shit movie and we should expect better. Saying “it has a couple decent fight and it’s not too woke” is a copout.

It’s the same shit we had with FF and the superman - where Drinker’s review was essentially ״yeah go watch it, it’s not that bad”.

It fucking is bad! Why are you lowering your standards?

I’m not spending my time and money on a “not that bad movie” again.

Can someone please recommend content creators that make content like prime used to;

- has experience building shit that matters, solving hard/interesting problems. Not just a bunch of throw away projects

- interesting and entertaining. Im more into technical discussions, not people who ramble while they code. I can code myself, i don’t need to see others code.

- “content by X, from 3 years ago” is also fine

I just can’t anymore with slop content about AI and drama farming. I get that he wants to ride the YouTube algorithm, but that’s just not for me.

I’m considering Black Templars as my first 40K army and was wondering if I can paint them with a metric black? (I like metallic paints more than matte paints).

What are your thoughts about it? Is it “legal”? Recommended? Did you try it and was meh? Or can you recommend a specific color/color combination?

A bit of a meta question, but do you actually enjoy the format where YouTubers do a podcast where they basically shoot the shit and joke around with their friends, cut up some parts and post them.

I gotta say it feels like very weak and half assed.

Yeah I guess it takes a lot of time to create a well thought out, edited, scripted video (or god forbid, a Mauler magnum opus). And creators need to maximize their output, but it’s just not the same thing.
