4v4 matchmaking keeps putting me on high ping servers even when better ones are available, anyone else having this issue?
Hey everyone!
I’ve been running into something frustrating with matchmaking lately. In 4v4 solo queue I keep getting placed on servers with 150-200 ping, even though there are consistently several better options available. I think around half the servers shown are under 150 ping for me, and I have 3 in the low 20-80 range.
What’s strange is that this almost never happens in 1v1. My ping there is almost always good and I rarely even think about it.
It really feels like the matchmaking system isn’t prioritizing ping as much as it should when queuing team games.
Has anyone else been experiencing this? I’m curious if it’s just me or if others are noticing the same thing in 4v4? Anyone know how the system truly works?
