Was he an alcoholic and did this affect his performance in bed?
Men of Reddit, I have recently ended things with a guy (33yo- me 33yo) I’ve been dating for a month due to a very specific issue.
This guy was great in general, dates, dinners etc but he was drinking everyday at least 5-6 beers and when it came to the bedroom he could sometimes perform and finish multiple times but sometimes he couldn’t at all and was giving me excuses about it.
I have tried to discuss it with him like adults but it ended with him telling me it’s the heat and it happens sometimes which resulted in him eventually calling the whole thing off under false pretence to hide that he felt bad.
The thing is: a) it’s not even that hot and b) out of the 6 times we got together the 3 he couldn’t finish and was not hard enough.
Can you give me your men knowledge on whether or not he had an actual drinking problem and if the situation sounds like it affected his sexual performance?
