Never used any of these method and frankly, I only have a vague understanding of how it works. In my experience, I played 100% of my pirated deck games just adding the exe file to steam, use proton experimental most of the time. If it doesn't work, check reddit for fixes, most of the time it is dependencies, specific proton version, or just needing a launch command. Using steamrip BTW. I use Fitgirl when I want to listen to the installer music.

So, can anyone explain what are the benefits of using Lutris or Heroic? I am curious.
