I bought this popper 4 months ago and it was never right from the start. At first the popcorn was very chewy, popped very fast. Tried to adjust it but it never popped slower. Contacted great northern, they have great customer service BTW, trouble shot it but they eventually sent me a new kettle. The new kettle pops about 1/3 of the kernels, which turn out good but the rest never pops, I end up dumping the corn, putting the kernels back in the popper and it pops another third. Then the rest just keep spinning. What do I need to adjust or do differently? I'm following the instructions on the front, I've used avocado oil and I've tried coconut oil.
