What am I missing out on from a standard series Martin?

What am I missing out on from a standard series Martin?

Recently got this 2020 DC-13E. it's my first Martin and a lovely guitar. Been playing it quite a bit. I am curious though what I am missing out on vs the standard series ? Mostly in terms of playability and sound ?

Don't have a local shop nearby where I'm able to test out some of the higher end models. Thanks

Should I do metal or asphalt on this A frame?

Pros/ cons of metal vs asphalt shingles? This roof is pretty crazy to begin with so not sure if that factors in.

Also believe it would be a lot pricier for metal but don't know much more than that.

I'd appreciate any practical advice. Thanks

Buying a house - what do you expect to find after tearing this roof off?

I'm under contract on a house in upstate New York. I knew the roof was old, but after getting a closer look it's significantly worse than I expected.

I'm planning to replace the roof regardless, but I'm trying to understand what I'm likely getting into once the shingles come off.

A few questions:

- How much sheathing would you expect to replace based on what you can see?

- One area appears to have exposed/rotting roof decking. would you be concerned about rafters as well?

- Roughly what would you expect a full replacement to cost in upstate NY?

- would this hold up a conventional mortgage?

Appreciate any thoughts from roofers who've dealt with roofs in similar condition.

Beginning of last season until now

I've messed around on a golf course for several years but never took lessons or tried to learn the fundamentals. Last year I decided I wanted to try and "figure" it out so I've been practicing quite a bit.

I've exceeded my expectations of what I thought I could change. I know there's room for improvement like everyone else, but for the most part I pretty much want to stop tinkering with my swing and just go play golf.

Videoing myself and keeping notes has been a big help. Note taking has really helped me work through some major flaws and has provided some breadcrumbs when issues resurface.

Got lambasted for my sequencing. Now what ?

Annoyingly I got a bunch of comments about poor sequencing last post that didn't give actionable advice.

Been focusing on tempo/sequencing now and I think I'm moving in the right direction.

Thoughts? Also need some advice on getting shallower

Help me pick a swing

I practice all the time but still really suck at this game because I'm always changing things. I lack consistency and lose my swing frequently.

Here are three swings over this season from most recent to oldest. Unfortunately, I don't have a great concept of which is better or what I should conform to.

This most recent one I focused more on hitting down on the ball. The second one has a more upright takeaway, but it's not as natural for me so I'm kind of moving away from that.

Basement walls

I'm considering putting an offer on this house. The house is immaculate, but I'm curious if these basement walls look concerning? I am planning on waiving inspections
