Car is due an MOT (UK) this month, the passenger side door wont open from the exterior handle. I have removed the door card and found that the handle is pulling on the release cable, it is just barely a mm short of releasing the catch.

Bit of a long shot, but any advice on how I can easily tighten this without removing the cable? (massive pain to get to) Possibly clamp something on and tighten it up to pull the cable tighter? No clue, but any help would be great!
