Hi, I'm 19+3 days pregnant today with recurring yeast infections since my preventative cerclage at 12 weeks. I had various course of 3 days treatment for yeast with antifungal as well as antibiotic vaginal medications. But from what I've noticed so far, I could have relief for only 4 to 5 days. Again the infection slowly comes up as itchy & sticky white discharge.

My question is, is it safe to apply this treatment once in every 2 weeks? Has anyone had treated these infections that frequently and it didnt cause any irritation to your cervix/cerclage?

Hi, I'm 17+5 weeks today ( preventative cerclage placed at 12+3). I have recurrent bv/fungal infection since 14 weeks. I constantly experience mild itching, white/grey colored discharge. Whenever I use suppositories I do get some relief but its only for 3 to 4 days. Again it keeps coming back. In the past 4 weeks, I took 3 course of treatments but still infection not cleared. I'm worried whether this repeated treatments would affect my stitch/ cervix in any way. My doctor is going to take a swab test tomorrow to assist more. Meanwhile my anxiety is pver the roof.

Has anyone had similar experience please?? How often were you treated? How can we manage recurrence?

I also read threads where few people has taken anti fungal suppositories every week for 3 days throughout their pregnancy. Does taking these treatments every week until delivery worked for you without impacting the stitch?
