JB 5" QAV-S 2/Xilo Stax V3 ESC Issue (Bootloader flashing problem)
Hi there, I built the JB 5" QAV-S 2 drone a while back and have had some problems with the motors getting fried. I traced it down to my ESC (Xilo Stax V3 AM32 ESC) being configured for 12 pole 2200kv motors when the motors that come with the kit are 14 pole 1800 KV motors. Went in and tried to update it via esc-configurator, messed it up and soft-bricked my ESC (No motor startup noise, recognized by am32 configurator but cannot read the settings to flash/update anything). I now know I need to use am32 configurator not esc-configurator website... should've read that closer first...
In determining how to fix it, I've determined I need to re-flash the am32 bootloader from the ground up with an ST-Link V2. I am following this Oscar Liang guide https://oscarliang.com/flash-am32-blheli32-esc/ and this Joshua Bardwell guide https://youtu.be/3mfhvqVV2zU?si=1fEnmocSX035GL_T (even though the ESC is originally AM32 not BLHeli it should still work) but I cannot find the SWC and SWD pads for this specific ESC. Looking at the GetFPV links I can see the V2 of the ESC clearly has these pads (highlighted in picture), but the V3 only has singular pass-through pads (I assume these are the SWD, but I cannot find any others that would be the SWC (rectangular ones are unrelated I believe, but if this is wrong please correct me!) The only documentation I can find out there is for the Flight controller, there's not much out there in terms of documentation for this ESC.
My current next step is finding the pins on the MCU's that would be for SWC and SWD and connecting directly to them with some very very thin wire. This assumes Xilo removed the actual SWC and SWD pads to save space here though. I haven't been able to find anything online for what pins on the MCU these might actually be though.
Any help would be appreciated, I could be going about this entirely wrong, but I really want to avoid buying another ESC if I can.
