Becoming a teacher as a foreigner

Would love to get some advice/guidance on becoming a teacher in Scotland.

My plan is to get my PGDE in Secondary Business Studies/Economics (Student Visa), then switch to the Graduate Visa to do my Probationary year. This should get me GTCS completed, correct? From that point, I would then have to try to get a permanent position at a school via a Skilled Worker Visa.

My questions are:

  1. Is this feasible?
  2. Can a Supply teacher get a Skilled Worker Visa since the employer is the Council, if the Supply role is permanent?
  3. How competitive is the job market? Meaning that since I will have limited teaching experience, I’ll be passed up, especially since I would require a visa sponsorship.

My dream is to live and work in Scotland (preferably in the rural areas). I’m from the USA, and if there is anyone who has done this or knows someone who has, I’d greatly appreciate any insight.

On average, how many miles do you put on your car each year?

I’m curious, in the US, we average between 10k-15k miles a year on our cars. What is your average range?

Is wearing a Richmond FC (Ted Lasso) jersey to a pub during World Cup ok?

I’m going to be traveling through out England/Scotland for a few months and will be in a couple of villages during World Cup. I will be rooting for a few different teams. I’m not a big football fan, but always enjoy the World Cup. Will I look silly wearing a jersey for a fictitious team?

Where does Darville’s brand rank amongst the tea options? I never hear anyone talk about liking this brand in discussion. Most people mention Yorkshire or Yorkshire Gold, PG, Twinings, Clipper, and Fortum &Mason.

I’m an American and will be traveling in Europe for a few months. Hopefully, during this period, I’ll get my Stamp 0 preclearance letter. My question is, will the pdf letter that is emailed, allow me access to Ireland upon arrival and be acceptable for registration, or do I need the paper version that is mailed to my home address in the US? Any advice is greatly appreciated.
