Blackwater movie theatre and city improvements

Rockstar always impresses with details but I always find them WITHIN each game only.

But I just realised one small detail BETWEEN two games and that is the movie theatre from rdr2 to rdr1.

Considering rdr2 being great in graphics and all, I still prefer the cinema theatre at blackwater in rdr1. It just feels like a proper theatre with balcony seating upstairs and standard seating downstairs. And the ability to zoom onto the screen feels like a proper movie projection too. On the contrary, in rdr2, the theatre is still just a “performance stage” though it is graphically rich.

I’m not sure if the motion pictures officially arrived only after 1900 (timeline of rdr1) but this detail between the two games fascinates me.

A 2010 game having a more accurate theatre than a 2018 game just because of the prequel-sequel logic as the time of rdr1 is actually after rdr2

Also, in the epilogue of rdr2, there is a lot of construction happening in blackwater and it also justifies the fresh setting and change of shops and buildings in blackwater between rdr2 and rdr1.

Example - butcher shop stays at same place but the police station is now a candy store next to a mortuary!!
