r/reddeadredemption
Do you consider Red Dead Redemption 2 one of your favourite stories ever told not just from video games? What other stories do you love just as much?
Was this scene always this anticlimactic?
This was my second playthrough the game after I beat the game about 2 years prior. Was the train in the 'The Train to Nowhere always this slow? Did my game bug or something? I feel like this was the game trying to help me pass the mission because I was a little too late with my inputs? Obviously the cutscene right after looks a lot faster than how it was going for cinematic effect, but I feel like I would've noticed the speed difference during my first playthrough.
Sign with rocks
There's actually a sign with rocks for new Hanover! Almost missed it lol
Real hard decision
Man should I just delete rdr2 , I mean I've definitely played it for hundreds of hours by now, messed around, I gave up on 100 completion but still found new content from time to time but rn, those are barely hyping me up, I still open the game every single day and just get lost in the sandbox and beautiful world, man but. I feel like there's so many games I wanna play and with only 59 gb left on my ssd i can't download anything bro. There really are many games I wanna play. still rdr 2 feels like a trophy a gem on my computer just feels proud to have that game on me SSD . Still, just as much as I LOVE LOVE the game, I guess someday I gotta bid farewell
When it comes to Blackjack dealers, I despise them
Even though I’m rich, still pissed that I lost 2 dollars over a bust.
Legit just got wanted and arrested in Rhodes for trying to drop off a KKK guy at the jail.
Turns out those that work forces are indeed the same that burn crosses.
Arthur with Dutch's long facial hair is my favorite look for him
Achieved with WhyEm's DLC on Nexus
Hot take: i find John funnier than Arthur
Yup, as the title says, John, to me is way funnier than Arthur, Arthur is probably in the second spot there (he is really funny sometimes) but genuinely ive been playing Undead Nightmare and John just CANT take ANYTHING seriously.
Like John your wife and son are zombified fym "probably just a fever"💔
People out there in the world crying because of their families being zombies and he goes and says "you can come out, i dont bite😏 "
And in the main game he drops these one liners like "Im your old friend amnesia", "you couldn't shoot a fart out your own ass" or "they told us there was a prize when you got to 50". He reminds a lot aboit Leon Kennedy and his goofy ahh one liners
Finally 😊
I’ve been a huge fan of this game since release. I’ve beaten the main story a handful of times but I’ve always done minimal extras aside from the legendary hunts/fish and special weapons/clothes. But this time I’ve really slowed down to take in what I usually skip and I can finally say I’ve gotten the Legend Of The East satchel. So satisfying!
I wanted my RDR homage tattoo to be finished before going to Paris, but I couldn’t pass up the photo.
What would happen if these characters switched worlds for 30 days? How far will they go?
GTA V protagonists go to the Past
RDR2 Protagonists go to the future.
Is there a way to study Guarma animals after chapter 5?
When I was in Guarma, I was trying to complete the exclusive animals for the compendium. But I accidentaly triggered a mission and then the rest of the missions kept playing preventing me from studying all the animals. (I could only get the parrots) I'm not much of a collector but the fact that I cant ever see and save these animals for the compendium upsets me. Is there any way to find these animals in the mainland? Or is there any glitch, bug etc. that can help?
I wish they add stargazing in RDR3
One feature I'd love to see in RDR3 is a fully realistic night sky.
Imagine if the stars, constellations, and planets matched the actual sky for whatever year the game is set in. You could spend nights stargazing, and different celestial objects would only be visible from certain locations at certain times. Climbing a mountain or camping in a remote valley would give you darker skies and reveal more stars, while towns would have smoke and light that obscure them.
It could also include rare events like meteor showers, comets, eclipses, or even the occasional aurora. NPCs around the campfire could tell stories about constellations, and you could sketch them in your journal just like animals and plants.
It wouldn't even need to be tied to gameplay, it would just be one of those immersive details that Rockstar excels at. Though it could also be used for treasure hunts or navigation if they wanted.
What are some features you think would be great for RDR3?
My 5 year old picked up a feather in the park today and asked me to make him a hat for his favourite soft toy.
I'm usually absolutely useless at this kind of thing and have no idea how I managed to pull it off, but when my boy asked me to make him a hat, I knew what had to be done!
