My Mac was stolen, how safe is my data

It’s been pinging a house in my city for about 12 hours,police need a warrant and stuff to get it back, it has find my turned on and idk if I have FileVault turned on or not because I didn’t know it existed until now

I have removed my Apple Pay from it but I want to check how well my data is protected

My Mac was in my bag and it was stolen today and the adress is in point chev, I already make a 105 report and now I need a new laptop for uni but I’m broke 😭

It’s genuinely sad how bad crime has gotten in this city, it was there for like 10 in the store and now it’s gone :(

I currently have the deathadder essential and I want an upgrade, I’m using the Razer ornata v3 TKL right now and want a mouse that will be good for gaming/video editing and just generally reliable for the next few years.
