I use a 26,000 DPI, and At 1% sensitivity the game is barely controllable, every other game I’ve played I’m fine at like 2-3% sensitivity, how come this game expects players to run such a fast sensitivity?
Just let us get a lower sensitivity, is there a game settings file where we can edit the sensitivity?
I was doing some solo voyages and got a decent amount of treasure when I spotted a player sloop. I turned away to run to the nearest outpost.
They then kept following me for 30mins so I decided f it and backboarded with a gunpowder barrel which crippled them for a few mins.
At this point I was pretty far away from an outpost so sailed to the closest one only to spot the same ship AGAIN chasing me.
This proceeded for hours before a meg and Skelton fleet spawned and sunk me right outside port merick all my loot was floating in the water.
Exactly after I sunk they just sailed away essentially wasting hours of everyone’s time and didn’t even take my loot when I sunk. I’m baffled at the decision making process
So me and a buddy that were playing the game(we're pretty new to the game) are pulling into an outpost and all of a sudden me and him get blown up and the ship is sunk, did someone like hit us with black power kegs? I'm genuinely so confused.
i saw it today on discount and wanted to know if its worth 15€, the only concern i have is going against teams of experienced players since im the only in the friendgroup interested in the game. so as the title says is it wort starting now?
On 6/9 I left this karma crate at Plunder Outpost. It took 9.5 hours and a crew of 4 to curate it. We started at 9 PM and it was on the dock at 7:30 AM. 3 guys crashed overnight, we cycled a replacement in around 1, and then I had to finish it with about 1.5 hours of solo brig.
I acknowledge this is dumb but we’re running out of new things to do and we enjoy Sea of Thieves shenanigans.
I have tons of time in this game, I will never for the life of me understand why anyone would willingly choose to solo a brig or gally.
That was my first match in this new mode, how did I do?
I was doing a challenge where I could only sell skulls to the order of soul so all the rest of the loot that I got I donated a way to the next person who would joined the server, and the treasure map you see on the pole leads to a chest of Fortune
I spent the last few weeks developing this prototype to play SoT with a real wheel. This early code and set up actually ended up working really well so I wanted to share. I’m also thinking about making a video documenting my process as well as making a kick starter to try and develop this into an easy diy build where everything can be bought/3d-printed. Any interest?
Update: I’ve gotten it to be more accurate and have been sailing around for the last half hour

Me and my mate recently got this game and we're liking it, raided some forts and all that. However, what's the gameplay loop like for you guys? How do you know what forts are active? Is it luck? Or is there more to it? Info like that would be great, I'm seeing a lot of different answers online so I came here.

Season 19 was the first season in years to not being new commendations and it looks as if season 20 will continue this trend as it is only about custom seas and what commendations are there to do about custom seas? Correct me if I’m wrong but I guess we will all have to complete some old comms again…
Was checking my phone before doing a skelly hunt and heard what sounded like someone placing a voyage down. Thing is, I’m playing solo and haven’t encountered any players yet (as seen by the recently played menu).

Hello everyone, I was told by people that I would enjoy this game. However, I've come onto this subreddit and realised that the game has gone downhill. I really don't know what to do. I am also very shy, so naturally, maybe this might not be the game for me. Any opinions? I know absolutely nothing.
Information on YouTube and google ai, says that i should not "dive to location" But instead i should just sail between 2 different forts/camps as by the time i finish 1, the other has reset? But i dont get the option to "sail to location" Like the guides are telling me? Is the guide outdated information, or am i missing something?

How do guilds work and how do you get invited to a guild? Once you're in a guild do you basically just loot and go on raids as an armada or how does it work?
