i had an issue with an ancient skeleton. i killed one and didnt receive any ancient coins. Normally these issues i would just keep in the support logs. but due to how shocked i am on this i thought i should bring it here.

yes, the video above was attached to the support ticket, they checked the date and time i sent and it had been confirmed the ancient skeleton was added to my log saying I killed it (not the ghost because we thought that could of been the reason) and i should of received anicent coins.

I made as clear as i could that i genuinely did not mind receiving the MINIMUM of 100 ancient coins over this error, even though i could of received anywhere from 100-800.

I get 50,000 gold instead which i can easily achieve in less than 20 minutes of playing.

This is incredibly disappointing coming as a long time player and seems more like a mockery than anything i wont lie.

Have I heard correctly? "Jingle Bells" will be the first Emporium Shanty??

Are you kidding me? Rare has access to 5.2 quintillion legendary video game soundtracks that they themselves had a direct hand in creating, and the first microtransaction shanty we get is jingle bells??

Grant Kirkhope, Graeme Norgate, David Wise, Robin Beanland, Chloe Kwok (Beanland and Kwok both doing SoT right now btw), Eveline Ficher, Steve Burke, Jamie Hughes, and more that I know I'm forgetting, have all provided amazing work for games that Rare/Microsoft directly own the rights to.

5 Banjo-Kazooies, 2 Perfect Darks, Goldeneye, 2 Conkers, at least 5 Battletoads, 3 Killer Instincts, Blast Corps, 4 Viva Pinata games, Jet Force Gemini, Grabbed By the Ghoulies, Jetpac Refueled, Kameo, and Sea of Thieves' ever-expanding non-shanty soundtrack.

Christ, we already have ship sets referencing numerous others. Borderlands, Ori, Gears(hmmm, could have been a topical release), Halo(shanty already present in emote!!), State of Decay, South of Midnight, and a handful of Blizzard titles.

I'm going one step further: We already have THREE Christmas parodies: Deck the Halls, Carol of the Bells, and 12 Days of Christmas!

BUT THEY PICKED JINGLE BELLS AS THE FIRST PAID SHANTY.

I'm going to explode. Merry christmas, you filthy animals.
