Is this an issue?

Is this an issue?

I had an X-ray at a chiropractor (yes I’ve learned to stop going). They said I just pulled my back forcing this part to compress. I’ve had manageable pain for almost a month now. Occasional numbness or tingling in my legs. Is this really just being compressed or is there a potential issue? I’ve been trying to find X-rays online with a similar issue and can’t find anything.

What does it mean X-rays show my lower back is compressed and middle is spread out?

Little back story, I’ve had occasional back problems for roughly 20 years. I have a slight lean in my back and have never been diagnosed with anything but anytime I’ve pulled my back I go to the chiropractor, ice it, take ibuprofen, take it easy, and I’m back to normal a few days to a week later.

About a month ago I pulled it and it felt the same as before. Repeated the steps but it was the first time seeing a chiropractor in like 10 years and they took x-rays. They said my spine looked very healthy I just have a bad muscle pull causing my lower back to compress down. I wish I had the x-rays to post, but there is very little room in between my vertebrae in my lower back to tailbone and it is very spread out in the middle. Chiro said it may take some time but we will get you straightened out and back to feeling good.

It’s been about 3 weeks with no improvement. I was able to take the first week off, although it felt much better being able to rest it didn’t improve very much, but there were some minor improvements. Went back to work for a week. I mostly sit at a desk but occasionally have to bend and lift stuff and very occasionally heavy things. It got much worse and I took another week off. I am now back to work and saw no improvement in that 2nd week off.

I would say it is a constant uncomfortable pain, not debilitating. Occasionally my feet tingle and I experience numbness but it’s quite rare. Mornings are a huge struggle to the point I have to roll out of bed and struggle to get socks on. After icing it returns to an uncomfortable feeling. I had to stand at a visitation for roughly an hour Monday and was in quite a bit of pain after. Rested all day Tuesday and today am back to work. It feels like I re pull it almost everyday.

I am following some online advice with stretches and I feel I have a decent diet and definitely exercise enough but it just won’t get better.

My question is does pulling your back really cause the vertebrae separation and contraction, and occasional nerve pain? I’m not able to go to an orthopedic until next week to further evaluate and I can’t take anymore time off without going on short term which I need a drs approval but work is becoming quite difficult.

Thanks for your help.

Anaplasmosis test came back positive but no treatment?

For the time being I live in a very tick infested area, I find ticks crawling on her almost daily after walks yet I have never found any attached. I have since learned all it takes is a bite.

Anyways my vet said they will not be treating it unless symptoms arise, is this normal? This seems like something that should be nipped in the bud vs waiting for symptoms? Loss of appetite and lethargy might be hard symptoms to pick up on my Arya so I’m a little worried.

She’s my first dog as an adult so I’m freaking out a bit. Dog tax included.

This thread is for successful sports cities only

To my friends in Chicago, Detroit, and Kansas City. Do you have a favorite parade you attended? Do you think you would be more miserable if you only had the chance to attend 1 or possibly 0 championship parades in your lifetime? Would you even enjoy sports if all of your teams went 52 years without winning a single championship? I guess the 3 of us don’t really worry about such things so I was just curious.
