Gracie decided to find some odd places to nap this weekend.

I only caught the very end of it, but she liked her little eating house.

I wasn’t sure if she’d knock it over or get inside, but she obliged. Costco boxes are good for something :)

Sorry for the extra post but this was too funny not to share.

I looked out and saw water everywhere, and thought maybe she bit through the pool.

But then I watched that she figured out how to step on the side of the pool to let water out - and then she’d play around in the puddle.

She seems to be less bothered by the nips today, and enjoying playing in the pool.

I had just cleaned it out and she showed up. I was lazy and didn’t fill it up as high, but she actually likes it better not having to swim.

She loves the Costco peanut butter pretzel nuggets too :)

She just started doing this position tonight. Was lying on her side napping before, but she’s acting like her tummy feels too big or something.

She would pant for a little bit and then stop. She has water and was eating fine.

Could she be going into labor?

So now we have the wee momma, Gracie, and “Stevie” here as our daily visitors.

This happened a few years ago when our Chester turned out to be a girl.

I’m curious if there’s any rhyme or reason to raccoons having a full mask like Gracie, here, vs others y’all post with more of a “split mask” where the black isn’t connected and the eyebrow part goes down to the nose.

We are in Seattle, and wondering if it’s regional or just random?

I’m guessing we’re also seeing multiple generations, over the last four years - so they’re all going to be similar.

He can’t have fun without ending up trying to rip everything apart.

He was fully walking around in the pool before this. I’m sure he peed in it too :)

But he decided to start biting apart his surfboard instead.

I had to go rescue the floaty before he filled the pool with chunks.

He was bobbing for grapes in the water earlier.

We noticed she likes to leave them in the water a while til they get mushy. She kept doing it on purpose for each one.

Our buddy Stephen brought a new friend today. She (?) was up on the porch roof and he helped her come down.

Have never seen this little cutie before.

Not as interested in the water or grapes, as he was, and just munched the dog food.

But then she climbed back up onto the roof, and I had to go see where she went. She was just chilling, looking back at me.

Came upstairs and one of the cats was on the counter looking at Stephen, and they must have been discussing guacamole recipes.

He’s such a little goof.

He was waiting patiently for a snack refill and fresh water.

This little one comes by every morning and seems to be getting hungrier and hungrier by the day.

We’ve had pregnant mommas in past years but this one is so small.

Can anyone tell if it’s a boy or girl from the pictures?

Funny thing, she he grabbed that Mio container from recycling outside and was playing with it, and became a bath toy.

Found this extra video, from the group I posted the other day of the sleeping pair.

This guy was really into the raccoon toy and was so sad when he dropped it.

So happy they like the raccoon toy I bought them :)

The yawns are incredible.
