Are raccoons with no tails very common?

This dude comes and eats with my feral colony every night and it doesn’t have a tail! I’d never seen this before. I assume a genetic abnormality? Just thought it was neat and wondered if any of yall have seen this before :)

Edit: realized I didn’t specify feral CAT colony, not just random feral animals lol

Do raccoons party with skunks?

These guys usually show up at separate times—the skunk typically the late night clean up crew. But today they showed up together (both on the step waiting before I could grab my phone).

When a bandit gets caught, lol.

The bandit feigning surprise that we see it snooping around in the yard.

Weird black bump on raccoon?

Don't think those are balls...?

Google is saying it could be a abscess or tick or botfly?

I feel so bad for this fella. 😭😭😭

Neighbor taking the kids out for thr day

So I posted a couple weeks ago about the raccoon living in my neighbor's tree. Well today I heard a ruckus behind our houses and saw her taking the babies out. Not sure if she's evacuating due to power tools being used by the landscapers on her tree or if she's just taking them to forage.

Edit: the*

Gang of 9 ate my stray’s food 5 minutes after I put it out

Gang of 9 came by in the daylight hours to eat my stray cat’s food that I just put out. 😩 I guess I’ll be keeping my stray company while she eats for a bit.

Eta: thanks to everyone suggesting I put more food out. As a general rule, I don’t feed wild animals and these are wild raccoons so they have foraging and scavenging skills. They also have a compost pit in the backyard they can pick out of. We’ve had neighborhood raccoons for as long as I’ve lived here so they know how to find enough food. They just happened upon my stray cat’s food right after I put it out and before my stray cat was able to get to it. And before anyone asks, the leftover cat food gets picked up at dusk and only the water bowl is left out overnight. Thanks!

Can a raccoon fit through this gap?

Does anyone think a racoon could fit through this gap? It’s about 1 1/2”

New friends

Starting to befriend one of the local raccoons at my work

What human foods are good for raccoons to give her as a treat, i usually have bananas for lunch and heard raccoons love those but are there other things?

Yes its technically a wild racoon and im aware it is risky pulling a sleeping beauty on wild critters but I'm gonna do it anyways... that being said how can I do this most safely
