I had an idea for a short Hastur centric set of investigations (inspired by True Detective and Repairer of Reputations) and am thinking on the timeline/setting. Has anyone run standard Cthulhu in the 1930-40s and would it be a huge difference in rules or tone? Also any suggestions for mythos monsters would be awesome

I'm looking for 3-5 to players for a Chaos aligned 40k game using the Black Crusade system and some homebrew rules. No knowledge of the setting or system is required.

Either taking place on Thursdays or Fridays 6pm GMT. The group will be remnants of an invasion stranded on an enemy hive planet with hopes of getting off-world and returning to safer (relative for Chaos worshippers) to plan their next actions

As a GM I haven't run the system before but have run other ttrpg systems consistently for several years
