In case anyone is interested in Shin Megami Tensei roleplaying

We are aiming to start around September or October; if you have already played Nocturne, you may want to avoid this as the campaign is pretty much that story, with the variations that come from roleplay and not railroading of course. You can roleplay as a demon, human or fiend (like the protagonist of Nocturne), but you can fuse with demons, consume Magatama, etc., so your character could suffer some radical transformations according to your will.

Also, the system is incredibly faithful to the in-character conversation and combat mechanics in the video game, so if you enjoyed those tactical uses of spells and the like, exploiting elemental vulnerabilities, negotiating with demons and such, you are going to love it. For more information please watch the video.

The Astral Lounge - [seeking players] [Online] [DnD 5e 2014] [beginner/LGBT friendly] [Thursdays 10am-2pm EST]

Welcome all to the Astral Lounge!

Whether it be a girl’s night out, coping with a messy breakup, or an average Saturday night to you, you find yourself at the newly opened Astral Lounge. You’ve heard that the Astral Lounge is the best party spot on the Ethereal plane, boasting a bar full of one-of-a-kind cocktails and dwarven beers, a hookah lounge, and a private gambling room. Tonight, DJ LaRocka, an entertainer well renowned across the planes, takes the stage. You spend time in whatever way seems most fitting to you, perhaps dancing the night away, eyeing someone up across the bar, or sipping on a club soda at the bar because you’ve been delegated the task of ensuring all your friends arrive home safely. As you dance your night away, you start to realize that this bar isn’t quite what you thought it was. And you also realize that you can’t leave until you make things right.

I'm AC (26F) and I will be DMing this mini campaign for some of you! I've been playing DnD for three years and I've been DMing for two years. This campaign will take place at 10am-2pm EST on Thursdays. It will be a short campaign, maybe around 5 game days plus a day for a session zero. It may take longer or shorter depending on party progress. I'm looking for players that enjoy RP, as this will be an RP heavy campaign (70/30 RP to combat). I work best with people who care a lot about their characters and their backstories. I use Discord for voice, Foundry VTT for combat, DnD Beyond for character sheets, and theater of mind for RP.

If this campaign sounds like something you would be interested in, please fill out the google form below.

[Online][5e][2014/2024 mix][18+][CE(S)T/GMT+2] DM running his first campaign, looking for 5 players

Hi all. I'm a long-time player with lots of experience in 5e. I have run a few one-shots before, but never a campaign. This will be set in a homebrew high-fantasy setting. I will be stealing getting inspiration from modules but rework it to be my own thing.

The first few sessions will be a little bit on-rails to get the story rolling, but after that it will become a sandbox. Starting on the continent of Alandria in the city-state of Andraxes, the players are ready to visit a 5-day long festival.

As mentioned, I will be running a mix of 2014 and 2024. But assume it will be using 2014 rules unless mentioned otherwise.

We will be using roll20 and Discord voice chat.

New players are welcome, but I'm hoping to get at least one experienced player.

Which day we play will be figured out together, but starting time will typically be 19:00-20:00.

If you're interested, message me with how much experience you have, what you are looking for out of a campaign, and your character idea(s) if you have any.

Edit : Party is filled up.

Looking for 2 more players — D&D 5e (2024), Roll20, homebrew campaign. MONDAY AFTERNOON

Hey! I've got 3 players and I'm looking for 2 more to round out the table. Starting level 3, milestone leveling (no XP grinding), running on Roll20.

The setting is a homebrew world called Aethermoor — think gunpowder mixing with old-school fantasy, muskets next to pike formations, steam-powered dwarven forges, that kind of thing. There's a big invading empire (basically an unstoppable religious war machine) pushing into the heartlands, and your characters get pulled into it as soldiers, mercs, dissidents, whatever fits your concept — the one thing you'll have in common is you're fighting on the allied side.

Fair warning, this is meant to be a long campaign, not a one-shot or a short arc. I've got a lot of it planned out already (world, factions, NPCs, the whole thing), so if you're looking for something with real worldbuilding behind it and you like a mix of combat and roleplay/political stuff, this could be a good fit.

A couple of homebrew bits: there's a custom playable race (the Ashanites, the empire I mentioned — playing one means you're a defector, which is its own whole thing), a variant human feat for a mercenary culture called the Veilkin, and firearms are a real part of the setting with some house rules attached.

Looking for people who can commit to regular sessions since this is going to run for a while. If that sounds like your thing, drop a message and tell me a bit about what you like to play.

[Online] [5e14] [18+] [Saturdays | CET] Roleplay focused Homebrew campaign looking for 2 players

Hello There, my name is noki and I have posted this campaign here some time ago. Sadly within the span of a couple weeks, two of my players had to leave the campaign due to scheduling issues, so I am looking for two players to fill up the group again. About myself, I am 25 years old and I have been playing D&D for a couple of years by now both as a player and as DM. I run games because I enjoy telling stories with a group of people and having fun playing the game together.

The Setting: Evira is a Homebrew World I have created taking inspiration from sources like The Lord of the Rings, A Song of ice and Fire, The Witcher, and Warhammer Fantasy. Gods are distant and there are no planes or Multiverses. Magic is more rare, and the understanding of it is limited to most people.

The Story: You basically make your own adventure and decide what story hooks to follow and how much you wish to interact with them. Interacting or rather not interacting will have consequences on the world. Sometimes not even I know where things might lead. You as the party choose your path, as you navigate through the world together.

The System: The Game will be played with DnD 5e 2014 as the base, but Homebrewed to fit my world with adjusted rules like resting, variant encumbrance, and Lingering Injuries. I also trimmed down on what species are available and made some adjustments to them.
No 3rd party content is allowed.

Runnigng the Game: The Campaign will be played online on FoundryVTT using discord for voice and video. I heavily encourage using cameras, but it is not a requirement. Everything that we need is provided on the Foundry server, no purchases are required. I will mention that you should check that your system is able to run Foundry (which should not be an issue for most systems) and that you have a stable internet connection and a reliable microphone. The game will be bi-weekly (meaning every other saturday)

The Characters: We have had eight sessions so far and the party is level 3. The current party consists of:

  • Dwarven Barbarien (Totem Warrior) who wields a Halberd
  • Half-Elf Rogue (Swashbuckler) who is looking to dip into Warlock in the future
  • Dragonborn Sorcerer (Draconic Bloodline) who only joined a few sessions ago

What to Expect:

  • Moral ambiguity: Good people are able to do bad things, Bad people have their reasons.
  • Distand Gods: Faith is more cultural and Clerics are not the chosen of gods, but more akin to scholars, zealots, or people simply wielding tradition.
  • Realistic and with Stakes: No flying Islands. No Bards playing magic guitars on flying carpets. I will also not shy away from darker themes, but I also won't shove them into your face all the time.

What I Expect from you:

  • Commitment: I am looking for people who are willing to play D&D every other week and are looking forward to each session.
  • Motivation: You should try to involve yourself into the game and interact with the other players.
  • Teamplay: You do not play against the DM or to compete against the other players. We all play together to have fun and to enjoy the game. Try to think of the other players and be mindful of each other. This obviously also applies when making your character.
  • Experience: No experience is needed. If you a very experienced, don't try to metagame as you might know things about a monster, but your character might not.

If you are interested, send me a DM with some infos to help me out. I can go into more details if there are any questions remaining. The next Session will be on the 29th of August. What I would like you to provide me are:

  • Your Timezone
  • Your experience with D&D and VTTs
  • Any no-goes you have
  • Why you would like to play this campaign and about your playstyle
  • Anything you would like to share about yourself

[online][Cyberpunk][7 PM GMT+2][Fridays][21+] Roleplay-Heavy Tales in Night City

Hello Chooms

Hello, I am running a Cyberpunk Red campaign on Fridays at 7PM GMT+2. I'm looking for 3 or 4 players to take on a not-so-heroic tale through the neon-lit dumpster fire that is beautiful Night City. If you've never played, that's totally fine! Now follow me, chooms; we have corporations to burn.

The Game

The campaign will take place in Night City. However, I'm still deciding where on the timeline our story will take place. There are some elements of 2077 that I really love, and I feel are sorely lacking in the time of the red. So we'll figure that one out once we actually have our group together. Thankfully, the creator of Cyberpunk has provided us with a lovely little timeline to ogle at.

For the story itself, I want it to be completely centered around the player characters. I'm not interested in running the traditional "Big evil bad man threatens the world, and only our intrepid heroes can put a stop to it" kind of game. Instead, I want the main story to come from what your characters actually want. Their ambitions, problems, relationships, and decisions are what should drive the story forward. I want to know what your characters want most in this world, and then we'll build a main story around it.

In my opinion, that's what makes Cyberpunk such a wonderful setting for storytelling, because it's not about stopping the big evil bad guy; it's about trying to preserve your own life in a world that really doesn't care if you live or die. The only thing that matters is the friends you have, and the enemies that you can stay ahead of (which are very often your friends who double-crossed you). The only certainty you have living in Night City is that you won't survive it. So let's see how long you can last.

What am I looking for

I'm looking for players who enjoy being social and actively involved with the group. I'm naturally a pretty talkative guy when I play, and a big part of what makes these games fun for me is the interaction between everyone. Not just during the game, but also the conversations, jokes, and general vibe around it.

Because of that, I don't think I'm the best GM for someone who prefers to mostly sit back and listen. This is not a dig; it's simply a matter of compatibility. I need a pretty interactive group to get the most enjoyment out of these games, and for that reason I believe that someone who prefers a quieter experience would probably be better suited to a different kind of table.

I'm also looking for players who are primarily interested in the storytelling aspect of the game. Cyberpunk RED is a really cool system, and its filled to the brim with awesome mechanics, weapons, gear, and character options, but those are there to support the story rather than be the main focus of why we play.

I'd much rather spend our time talking about characters, writing, relationships, drama, and where the story could go than discussing optimal builds or how much pretend damage your character can potentially do once they get that one special gun. There's nothing wrong with enjoying the mechanical aspects of a TTRPG; it's just not what I'm personally interested in.

Ultimately, I'm looking for people who like to socialize a lot and tell stories together :)

Requirements

- Be 21+

- Have a good microphone without any background noise

- Be able to run Foundry on a PC

- Be fluent in English (accent doesn't matter)

It goes without saying that I'd like everyone at the table to treat each other with respect. I'm not particularly concerned about political correctness, and I don't expect everyone to walk on eggshells around each other. Dark humor, dumb jokes, and busting each other's chops in a fun and friendly way are all perfectly fine with me.

What I do care about is the intent behind it. There's a difference between making a joke with a group of people that you like hanging out with and genuinely having contempt for someone because of who they are, and trying to mask your hateful disposition with excuses like "oh, it's just a joke, bro". Bigotry, harassment, or hostility towards women, queer people, or other marginalized groups is not tolerated at my table.

If you're still here, thank you for reading all of that! There is no secret phrase or word hidden in the wall of text, so don't you worry your pretty little head about it. If you're interested in applying and meet the 4 requirements above, then please fill out a little survey that i made!

[BST] [Online] [5E 2014] [Wednesdays 8:30pm] Players Wanted: Gritty Age of Sail Dark Fantasy Naval Sandbox

A cataclysm has broken the old world.

The empire fled across the ocean with warships, soldiers, supply fleets, refugees, merchants, criminals, and thousands of people hoping there was something waiting for them beyond the sea.

The crossing did not go as planned.

Ships have been lost. Fleets have scattered. Survivors have found shores that should not exist on any Imperial chart, and the first expeditions into the world beyond the old maps have begun.

We are now around eight sessions into the campaign and have reached a natural point for new characters to enter the story.

What began as a desperate ocean crossing is opening into the larger naval sandbox the campaign was built around: scattered survivors, competing factions, strange islands, dangerous expeditions, lost ships, ancient mysteries, and the question of what exactly the people fleeing the old world have sailed into.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

I’m looking for a couple of players to join an ongoing D&D campaign set in a dark Age of Sail fantasy world, playing Wednesdays at 8:30pm BST.

The campaign began with the party caught inside a much larger movement of people, powers, and desperate factions crossing the ocean after the collapse of the old continent.

Since then, things have gone badly.

The crossing has fractured. Ships and people have been separated. Survivors are beginning to encounter strange shores, abandoned places, other expeditions, rival interests, and things that do not fit comfortably into what they believed existed beyond the sea.

The campaign has now reached a point where the world is opening up and characters arriving from elsewhere in the scattered crossing can enter the story naturally. You will not be expected to somehow insert yourself into an established adventuring party or spend weeks catching up on somebody else’s story.

Your character will have their own reason for being here.

You might have come from another ship, another expedition, another faction, or simply survived something the existing characters have not yet seen.

From here, the campaign will continue opening into a broader naval sandbox shaped by exploration, faction politics, dangerous expeditions, strange islands, ships, settlements, and the choices the party makes.

This is a campaign about survival, power, loyalty, fear, ambition, and what people become when the old rules stop holding the world together.

System: D&D 5e 2014

Format: Online

Timezone: UK / BST

Schedule: Wednesdays, 8:30pm BST

Age: 25+

Tools: Discord for voice, VTT/maps = Alchemy, AI-assisted art/maps/scene references for atmosphere and rapid sandbox prep

What the campaign is about

The sea will matter. Voyages will involve navigation, storms, scarcity, hostile ships, strange phenomena, and the constant question of where safety can actually be found.

Factions will matter. Imperial forces, scattered survivors, merchant interests, criminal flotillas, expeditions, settlements, and other powers all have their own priorities. None are purely good. None are purely safe. The party’s choices may create allies, enemies, debts, betrayals, and consequences that follow them across the campaign.

Ships will matter. They will not just be transport, but platforms for combat, navigation, logistics, upgrades, crew management, and bastion-like downtime mechanics. A ship can become a home, weapon, refuge, or lifeline... but ships are not guaranteed, invulnerable, or immune to loss.

Exploration will matter. The campaign includes island-hopping, scouting missions, ruins, dangerous shores, unknown peoples, supernatural mysteries, and the gradual discovery of what actually lies beyond the ocean.

Character stakes will matter. I’m especially interested in characters with something personal tying them to the collapse or the crossing: someone they lost, something they are fleeing, a duty they still believe in, a faction they distrust, a missing ship, a debt they owe, or a reason they might want to help build something new.

Expect opportunities to play as survivors, agents, deserters, prisoners, scouts, negotiators, troublemakers, reluctant heroes, or ambitious opportunists. People trying to carve meaning, power, or safety out of a world that has stopped making sense.

What to expect as a player

The player characters matter because the world is unstable, dangerous, and short on people who can act decisively.

You might be the person who can read a map when nobody knows where they are, negotiate with frightened survivors, command a cannon crew, scout a dangerous shore, repair a damaged ship, expose a faction’s lie, heal the wounded, or steal what the party needs to survive.

Expect:

- Naval travel, shipboard crises, and Age of Sail-inspired combat

- Faction politics between imperial, criminal, merchant, refugee, and settlement powers

- Strange islands, dangerous expeditions, and unexplored shores

- Resource pressure, crew tension, and survival decisions

- Supernatural mysteries, psychological dread, and unreliable information

- Violent combat where consequences matter

- Ships as tools for travel, combat, logistics, upgrades, and downtime

- A world that reacts to player choices

- Character-driven roleplay with moral complexity

You do not need to make a sailor or pirate.

Good character concepts could include cartographers, refugees, criminals, merchants, priests, scholars, exiles, scouts, mercenaries, failed nobles, disgraced officers, healers, engineers, artisans, interpreters, quartermasters, monster hunters, diplomats, spies, escaped prisoners, expedition members, shipwreck survivors, or ordinary people forced into extraordinary events.

Because the crossing has scattered, new characters can come from another ship, faction, expedition, or group of survivors. You will get everything you need to know before joining and will not be expected to read through eight sessions of campaign notes.

The best characters will have something to offer and something to lose.

What this campaign is not

This is not a light pirate romp, treasure-hunting comedy, or swashbuckling adventure. There may be criminals, raiders, ships, sea battles, taverns, songs, and bad decisions, but the campaign is more dark survival fantasy than pirate fantasy.

That said, the darkness will not be constant misery. It will be interspersed with moments of humour, warmth, and comic relief, often through companion NPCs, shipboard personalities, strange encounters, and the absurdity that comes from desperate people trying to survive impossible circumstances.

Player expectations

I’m looking for players who are:

Comfortable with mature, gritty fantasy

Interested in roleplay as well as combat

Able to make characters who care about the world

Happy with moral complexity and imperfect factions

Interested in survival, exploration, and faction consequences

Collaborative rather than chaotic-for-the-sake-of-it

Respectful out of character, even when characters clash in game

Reliable enough to join an ongoing Wednesday 8:30pm BST campaign

Newer players are welcome if they are engaged, reliable, and interested in the tone.

Application

If interested, please send me a dm but also comment below to let me know you have:

Name / age / timezone

Your D&D experience level

What kind of character you usually enjoy playing

What interests you about this campaign pitch

A rough character concept, if one comes to mind

Whether you can reliably make Wednesdays at 8:30pm BST

Whether you are comfortable with a mature dark fantasy world containing gore, cruelty, prejudice, and morally compromised factions

Feel free to comment questions below before applying.

[Online][5e][BST][2014] Out of the Abyss (Heavily Modified) – Level 11 | Looking for 1 player | Tue/Thu evenings | Once a week

Looking for **one player** to join a long-running, heavily modified **Out of the Abyss** campaign. The party is currently level 11 and about halfway through. Group size is usually 4–5 players.

**Schedule**

Tuesday or Thursday evenings, 6pm BST start. Once a week with some flexibility on which night.

**The table**

Dark, messed-up Underdark game with a strong Scottish/Welsh sense of humour. Expect irreverent banter, drinking, mild swearing, and people who smoke. Characters (and players) give each other a hard time both in and out of character. Occasional non-combat player interactions happen when it fits the characters’ situation.

Two of the players are long-time friends and their banter can come across like two angry cats — it’s just how they are with each other.

We’re here to have fun and play a grim campaign, not to over-optimise or walk on eggshells.

**Character rules**

- Multiclass is fine.

- No interest in power-gaming or highly optimised builds. As DM I’m here to have fun, not manage OP characters.

- Nothing pre-Tasha’s.

**Hard requirements**

- Must be on camera every session.

- Comfortable with drinking, mild swearing, and smoke being present.

- Reliable once-a-week attendance.

[GMT+1][Other, Delta Green][Weekly 1800] 1-3 Players wanted for Delta Green.

Hello everyone, formatting on phone please ignore typos.

I'm looking for 1-3 players for the TTRPG Delta Green. I have already made a post about the game several months prior and was able to get a group going. I'm now looking to pick up a second group.

If your unfamiliar with Delta Green, it is a modern day conspiracy game, based off the Call Of Cthulhu franchise. It has since become its own TTRPG experience with expansive books and scenarios.

I usually do longer sessions starting from 5-7pm and going for about 4+ hours with breaks in-between. I have 2 people potentially interested, but I'm hoping to get 3 more people as one is uncertain if they can commit at this time.

My experience includes the sessions I've played with Delta Green so far, as well as a few thousand hours in DND.

If you have an interest be sure to reach out. As said this is my second time making a post with resounding success on the first. I hope to hear from you soon, all the best.

Update: hello everyone, again resounding success on the post, I will be reaching out to whoever has commented, if you still have an interest but the post is closed send a message, 1 of the members I have was from my first intake, and was kind enough to wait the time frame to get involved so will get back to you in due course when I begin gathering a new group again. Kind regards

[Online][5e/5.5e][CEST]2 Players looking to create a Group

CLOSED!

Hello everyone! We are two 27-year-old dudes based in Germany and Italy searching for like-minded people to form a long-term D&D 5e / 5.5e campaign. Above all else, we are looking for a story-driven, roleplay-focused table where character development, creative choices, and narrative depth take priority over mechanics.

We love games where backstories actually matter, where flawed characters make interesting choices, and where the group builds a memorable campaign together. If your main joy in TTRPGs comes from character chemistry, immersive storytelling, and dramatic moments rather than stat optimization or min-maxing combat builds, you’ll fit right in with us.

While finding a dedicated Dungeon Master would be amazing, both of us are also fully willing and ready to DM! Our main priority right now isn't locking down who sits behind the screen, but rather getting a group of like-minded players together first. Once we have a solid group around a similar age range (20s or mid 30s preferred) who share the same mindset, we can brainstorm together, choose a setting, and figure out how we want to structure the campaign.

- System: D&D 5e / 5.5e

- Timezone: CEST / GMT+2

- Schedule: Evenings (Available any day except Saturday)

If this sounds like the kind of group you'd like to play with, send me a message!

Please include a brief introduction about yourself, your age, your location/timezone, your TTRPG experience, and a quick note about what kind of stories or characters you enjoy playing most.

[Online][5e 2024][Tuesdays @ 11:00AM GMT] Explore The Frontier, Outlaw!

If you pick your feet up from the capital of Celestia and begin heading west, you'll eventually arrive at the Edge of Civilization. A great series of walls and fortifications stretch from sea to sea, protecting the Empire of Ryuth from all that lies beyond. Monsters, barbarians, and the elements all fight gruesomely to survive outside of the wall.

Semiannually, the Empire of Ryuth takes criminals that aren't hated enough to be put to death but aren't trusted enough to be reintegrated and sends them over the wall. What becomes of these criminals is a mystery that the citizens of Ryuth tell legends of. Some say they form villages and are picked off one by one by monsters. Others say they find enough fortune out there to buy themselves a pardon. And some say that those who travel far enough find the lands where all souls go to rest.

You never thought those stories would become about you. As the carriages come to a stop and the horses snort, you find yourself dragged out by the wrist. The cold air bites at your flesh. The bag over your head is ripped off. Behind you, a massive wall stretches as far as the eye can see. In front of you, rolling hills stretch on forever. Beside you, several other creatures of various sizes have their bags removed too. A knight stuffs another bag in your hands. You can feel the weight of this one.

"That'll keep you alive for a short while. The chains will magically come undone in about an hour. Good luck; may Hellas find pity for you."

And with that, your new life began.

About Your GM:

Hello! I am Written, and I am starting a new campaign bright and early for me. I have been playing d&d 5e for a long time, and though I am more familiar with 2014 rules, I wanted to give 2024 a try at a longer-lasting campaign. I'm well versed with online campaigns. I've had many die to scheduling, drama, and fatigue. However, I've also had a few diamonds in the rough survive, and they're the highlights of my week! I'm hoping for this to become one of them, and because of that I'm gonna try and be a bit picky with my players.

As for a bit more about me, I'm a 21 year old film major who goes by he/they. I read a lot of manwha. I also binge a lot of romantasy, and I work on webnovels in my free time. I love character-focused campaigns, and I like to make jokes about the campaign OOC. I love tikka masala, earl gray tea, and Halloween! If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to me! :D

Expectations:

This is an RP heavy campaign. Combat frequency will vary depending on the arc, but do not expect consistent combat every session or other session.

This campaign is beginner friendly!

For the comfortability of all players, this is an 18+ game. This is not an ERP game.

I tend to run hero stories. You can create an evil character, but I find characters who stay stagnantly evil to be boring and mess with the rest of the group’s fun. As such, please only play an evil character if you are ready for them to go through some major change and feel comfortable in your ability to roleplay them without impeding on the other players’ enjoyment.

My sessions tend to last 3-4 hours with a small break in the middle.

This campaign will employ both theater of the mind and traditional battlemaps done through roll20.

The tone of this campaign is fairly serious. Please don’t make joke characters. That being said, it’s not all doom and gloom. Light-hearted characters are welcome!

Backstories must be substantial in length. You don’t need to write a novel (though I won’t complain if you do), but I expect something I can work with. I personally recommend three paragraphs. The first paragraph can be their youth. The second paragraph can be what made their death. The third paragraph can be mostly their personality and goals. I will be giving you custom features based on your backstories, so give me some good content to work with! Additionally, please try to give your character at least one notable flaw. If you struggle with writing, inform me and we can discuss alternatives.

We will have a session 0 to go over boundaries, rules, roll20 nonsense, and whatever else we feel is important.

To Play!:

If you want to play, then just fill out this google form! Because I've had people ask before, google forms require you to sign into a google account, but I do not record your email. If there are any problems, reach out to me on reddit.

Good luck adventurers, and may the dice be ever in your favor!

[Online][Other] Mothership- Another Bug Hunt (sci-fi horror game) (Friday 21st August, 19:30 GMT+1)

Now at the mercy of Leviathan Energy and Weapon Development Inc you were provided a ship for your own ventures. At a sizable debt of course. Fortunately they also provided a job. Six months ago a research outpost ceased all communication. You were hired to investigate and assist in the re-establishment of communication systems. Now your heads and bodies ache like the worst hangover you've ever experienced as the stasis pods deposit your bodies onto the cold, metal floor. A blaring alarm splits your head as red light fills the room while you come to your senses.

This will be my first time running a game of Mothership though I have been a forever GM for some time now and thoroughly enjoy horror games and films. As this is a horror game one should expect more mature themes though a pre-game discussion will of course take place to discuss any specific lines people have and to make characters together. I want this to be a comfortable space for everyone.

Another Bug Hunt is an introductory scenario for Mothership (a pretty simple but quite deadly system) so it is open to experienced or novice players. The scenario has three parts that will take a session each. If all goes well perhaps we can expand this into a wider campaign.

[Online] [GMT+2] [Playtest] A player looking for a group to play.

I'm looking for a world to play as warforged. No DM apparently allows warforged as playable race so I'm left to ask here to allow a group of adventures to find this automaton to join in their ranks.

I have a few years under my belt when it comes to 5e. I did DM one game learned a lot, and would be fun to get into a team of DMs to swap the role for experience and testing unique monsters. I think it's fun to understand both roles form both positions players and DMs. Nevertheless...

Who am I?

  • 35 male
  • GMT+2
  • I can make most of days during week but not Friday.
  • Looking to play, not DM
  • Comfortable with voice chat
  • English isn't my first language, I believe to be fluent in a manner of speech
  • Open to 5e, 5.5e, 3.5e. I'm wanted to try pathfinder, but never got the chance.
  • Prefer a long-term campaign
  • Big fan of character-driven/RP-heavy games

I would love to find friends that will last multiple campaigns. Some serious some fun. Some TPKs would also be hilarious. It's about fun and forging friendships.

[Online] [5e/5.5e] [CET/CEST] Player looking for a long-term, RP-focused campaign

Hey everyone!

I'm 27 and currently looking for an English-speaking D&D group to join as a player.

I've got experience with D&D, including DMing my own campaign, but I'd really like the chance to sit on the other side of the screen and properly invest in a character for a longer campaign.

The biggest thing I'm looking for is roleplay and character interaction. I love when PCs actually get to know each other, develop relationships, have disagreements, make meaningful decisions and feel like they're part of the world rather than just moving from encounter to encounter.

That doesn't mean I don't enjoy combat — I absolutely do. I'm just looking for a campaign where the characters and story matter just as much as what happens in initiative.

I'm completely fine with joining an ongoing campaign or starting something new, and I'm happy playing with both experienced and newer players.

About me / availability:

  • 27, he/him
  • Based in Germany (CET/CEST)
  • Available weekdays from around 5 PM onward
  • Very flexible on weekends
  • Looking to play, not DM
  • Comfortable with voice chat
  • English isn't my first language, but I'm comfortable speaking and roleplaying in English
  • Open to 5e or 5.5e / 2024 rules
  • Prefer a long-term campaign
  • Big fan of character-driven/RP-heavy games

I'm pretty flexible when it comes to setting and tone. Homebrew worlds, official settings, serious campaigns, lighter adventures, dark fantasy — I'm much more interested in finding a group with good chemistry than checking a particular setting off a list.

If you think I might fit your campaign, feel free to DM me here or add me on Discord:

Happy to chat or jump into a call beforehand to see if the vibe fits!

[ONLINE][5e 2024 ] Curse of Ashgate [18+][GMT+3][Free]

Hey there

https://a.chronus.eu/1C7256C

Click link for game start in a month but we will have a session 0 a week before

Looking for 5 players for a Darkest Dungeon-esque campaign. This is a Grimdark survival game with cults, guns, town management, dungeon crawling , steam punk, FUNN and death around the corner.

"You were promised something — a job, a fortune, safety, a letter from someone you love. You followed the road into the valley. Then the mist closed behind you, and it hasn't opened since.

The towns survive on furnaces that hold back the fog but the furnaces burn magic. Every enchanted item you find is fuel. Keep a town warm and you strip it bare. Breathe the fog too long and it twists your spells and whispers to you. The only way out is down, through tunnels another crew is already racing to clear — and the cults in town don't want them cleared at all."

Please post your age

[Offline][Antwerp / Mechelen, Belgium][English][CET] Looking for TTRPG Group (Fantasy, Cyberpunk, WoD & more)

Hi everyone,

I am looking for an in-person TTRPG group meeting in the Antwerp / Mechelen area playing in English.

Since I enjoy many different genres and mechanics, I am very open to suggestions regarding the system!

About me:

  • Systems experienced in: DSA/TDE, WoD, L5R, D&D, Pathfinder, Eclipse Phase, Call of Cthulhu, Shadowrun (and always happy to try new ones).
  • Playstyle: Good immersion, great chemistry at the table, and mutual fun are key for me.

Local recommendations welcome: If anyone can share how the local TTRPG community in Flanders is organized or point me toward active local channels (Discord, WhatsApp, Meetups, locations), that would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks a lot!

[ONLINE][SWRPG][FLEXIBLE][CET] - GM looking for player for SWRPG & D&D

Greetings.

The DM:

I've DMed SWRPG before and with my current campaign ending and one of my previous players will now be preoccupied with running his own camapaign. We've decided to return to SWRPG to give me a breather from D&D as everyone had a blast in the last SWRPG campaign.

I've DMed for 7 or so years. I run weekly homebrew games (no modules etc) in my own style. I am very consistent and just do it for fun as a social outlet.

If you like TTRPGs and you really would love to have a group you can stay with and be sure that you'll be playing effectively every week, well that I can offer. One of my players is soon to celebrate his fifth year with us.

What we are looking for:

We are looking for a player who vibes with us and is interested in staying after as we play D&D or other various systems depending on what we feel like at the moment.
I am the usual DM, though others may take over for one-shots or future campaigns. We aren't really minmaxers and primarily just have fun and enjoy our sessions as a group.

Most campaigns I run are around 40 sessions, though they can be longer and shorter so if that sounds like a good length to you, all the better!

New players as welcome as experienced players. Long as you get along with me and I get along with you (and our play/DM styles) we're good!

The Campaign:

Base system will be Edge of the Empire though we adjust rules as it feels best if need be, but generally RAW unless otherwise specified.

I have some rough ideas and usually just let the party go from there. I throw some stuff at them every now and then that serves as plot threads, but generally like to go for more sandbox adventures. That means I don't have giant plans and the story is largely written by where players go with the things I do give them. I love organic and cooperative storytelling.

Setting will most likely be prime Galactic Empire, somewhere around the Battle of Yavin, before or after. Not sure yet or alternatively I am also considering clone wars. Still have some weeks to figure that out.

It's generally more lighthearted. There are jokes but we try not to let it get too out of hand. So while there are often somewhat comedic NPCs, the plot is usually treated with appropriate gravitas, even if individual encounters may be more humorous.

Where do we play:

Leaning Tabletop Sim, though foundry VTT is a possibility. We use discord for communications and everything else. Voice only, just requires a decent mic and reliable availability.

When do we play:

Sundays, 2pm to 7pm (CET/CEST).

Misc:

We are also happy to have anyone who is interested to join us in playing various games outside of sessions though such is naturally not required. But at least some of us can regularly be found hanging out on the server's VCs and playing or such.

You wanna apply? Great, happy to hear!
Go right ahead at this easy to fill out form.

I hope to hear from some of you.
