What’s the deal with Aloe, the barbershop in the mall?
My usual guy left his studio so I was looking for someone/somewhere new. Low-moderately price for a pretty straightforward cut and beard clean-up.
Saw good reviews for Aloe on an old post and decided to give them a try. I walk in, one guy acknowledges me, and I join all the other scruffy dudes in the chairs. Few people ahead of me and two staff, I hang out and watch them work. Finally the customer in front of me is finished and the guy cleans up. Random guy walks up and asks if they’re taking walk-in’s and the barber sits him right down in the chair. I exchanged a look with the guy behind me in line, waited a couple minutes in case there was an explanation, and then left. I can go get my shitty haircut somewhere else.
