Straight to FAE after S2B?

I want to start a discussion. I know the instructions here say to let the mycelium colonize the coir and then FAE, but I’m seeing a lot of stuff online about how that’s outdated and people are going straight to FAE after S2B?

Those of you more experienced, what’s your take?

Jars for sure next time?

My first grow here. It’s been about three weeks now using LC. Break and shake about 10 days ago. My issue I’m having is I can’t tell if the tops of my bags are colonized or not. I can absolutely feel the block in the middle of the bag and the bottom. The bottom window looks great, however that’s where I injected the LC.

So how can I be sure it’s FULLY colonized before I cut open the bag and S2B? I’m definitely doing jars next time!

Curious about how many of you have consistently good flushes?

I’m still pretty new to this and would love to learn from those who are consistently getting successful grows.

Looking back, was there a specific change, technique, or habit that became a game changer for you? An “ah-ha” moment that noticeably improved your success rate?

I see a lot of beginners (myself included) struggling with contamination and losing bags, so I’m curious what steps you’ve found most effective for minimizing failures and improving consistency.

Thanks in advance for sharing your experience and advice.
