Yorkhill Park Shitters

Gross post inbound.

I walk my Labrador in Yorkhill Park regularly and I swear there’s human shite in the bushes every single week. It’s always been a bit rough, but it genuinely feels like it’s getting worse lately.

My dog’s an absolute greedy bastard as well and thinks every disgusting thing she finds is worth investigating, so I’m constantly dragging her away from stuff before she eats it or rolls in it. I was already fighting a losing battle against discarded kebab wrappers, chicken bones and bits of pizza flung into hedge bottoms before human jobbies became the status quo.

I genuinely do not understand the mentality. Who is repeatedly deciding a public park bush is the place to have a shite?

I get that people get caught short sometimes, but this is happening far too often to just be bad luck at this point. Are other parks in Glasgow like this as well or is Yorkhill Park uniquely manky?

People Make Glasgow, apparently.
