Am I in the right gym?

Hi all, I recently started kickboxing and I’m not wondering if maybe I’m at the wrong gym.

My current gym is pretty new (only 6 months old) and only has 1 punching bag. We are currently just doing partner pad work (but with gloves instead of pads), and then light sparring before finishing with cardio drills at the end of class.
Very small class, maybe 5-10 people at a time and they all a younger crowd (ages 18-30) so people are working hard, and the coach is a brown belt. He comes and does 1-on-1 during class with pretty much everybody since there aren’t many people.

My other choice is an kickboxing/MMA gym where the classes are taught by a UFC coach who has coached 2 fighters to win the UFC championship recently. I initially wanted to join this gym - it has 15+ bags, full octagon, pretty much everything you’d need, but from what I’ve noticed it’s a mix of people ranging from ages 20-60, and the classes are 25-50 people so I’m not sure if I’ll really get any 1-on-1 with the coach or how the training will go if I’m partnered with an older individual. And if I don’t get any 1-on-1 during class then how do I know if I’m properly throwing? They did tell me it is technical training though rather than cardio kickboxing so that’s good.

Ive seen a lot of people say beginners shouldn’t do any sort of sparring for the first few months, but my current gym literally forces it because there’s no other equipment to hit besides my partner.

Any thoughts on what to do as someone just starting out?

TLDR: New to kickboxing and deciding between two gyms. Current gym is small/new with lots of coach attention, but only has one bag and mainly does partner drills/light sparring. Other gym is a well-equipped MMA gym with elite coaching, but huge class sizes so I’m worried about not getting enough individual feedback as a beginner. Also unsure if beginners should even be sparring this early. Looking for advice on which environment is better to start in.

Best Online Coaches for Beginners?

Going to start this post by saying I do go to a gym which trains technicals (not hiit-cardio kickboxing), and I’m constantly trying to improve and look for my coaches to tell me if I’m moving properly.
I go 4 days/week so I’m really wanting to improve.

I’m in my early 30s and my flexibility is not there. I want to do other workouts at home that improve my flexibility. As dumb as I think an axe kick is, I want to be able do one.

I’m a complete beginner and will look to my coach for my main guidance, but I wanted to know if there are any online coaches (besides Gabriel Varga who I love) that I could watch to improve/learn new techniques or that teach proper exercises to improve flexibility and range of motion?

I want to be really dedicated. I know I’m starting really late and won’t be as good as I could have been, but I want to try!

Guys! I just got really into finance last week and I think I want to be the CEO of Goldman Sachs or JP Morgan Stanley! I’m not sure which yet, but I don’t have a degree and I refuse to go to college because screw that!! They’re not stealing my money!!!
No certifications and my only experience is working at my neighbor’s hotdog stand. I was the one grabbing the money and giving change so I feel like I have a great understanding and foundation of money. I also handed out a few hot dogs so I’m really good at sales too! I had a C in math all throughout highschool, but I’d say I’m great with number. Can anybody tell me how I can become CEO tomorrow? No, I won’t go to college or study or get a certification. And do not tell me to look for a role that is not paying at least 250k/year! I’m not an idiot!! I’m really smart actually. If anybody here is giving internships, give me one. Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

I’m currently shopping for gloves. I’m a complete beginner and have only been to a couple classes, but I think it’s time I make the investment.

My wrist to tip of my middle finger: 8.6”
Knuckle to knuckle: 3.8”

I was looking at Fairtex and Twins mainly. I was eyeing the Fairtex BGV19, but fear it might be too small for my hands with wraps. I was seeing people say the BGV1s are also good, but with the same breath say they can’t compete with the BGV19.
But I’m also wondering if it’s better for me to just grab some Venum Challengers and use those until I’m more experienced or should I just use that money and buy a decent pair?
