Big Relapse
Hi everyone,
I am writing this in absolute despair and panic. I am currently experiencing a massive relapse that feels just as horrific as day one. I am a mother of a toddler, working part-time, and I feel like I am hit by a train and hit rock bottom. I desperately need some hope and advice from long-term floxies.
My History:
- I was flooxed twice (Fluoroquinolones) [触].
- My brand accelerator was Ibuprofen, which I took close to the antibiotic.
- It has been almost 2 years (23 months) since the poisoning.
The Recovery Phase:
From December to mid-March, I made wonderful progress. I was at a 90 on the Bell Scale. I was able to sleep without melatonin, had almost no anxiety, went out with friends, and was highly active. I thought I was finally making it out.
What triggered the Crash:
- In November, I had to stop my main combo supplement, MVM-A Antioxidant Protocol (Allergy Research Group), because my blood work showed dangerously high levels of Vitamin B6, B12, and Selenium.
- Starting mid-March, a slow and creeping deterioration began.
- On top of that, I caught multiple infections back-to-back over the last few weeks, including a severe one with fever 4 weeks ago.
My Current Symptoms (Absolute Bottom):
Right now, everything is firing at 100% again: extreme, chemically forced inner anxiety and panic, terrifying intrusive thoughts of losing my mind or "going crazy", severe head pressure and jaw clenching (feels like a vice), burning sensation at the back of my head, loud tinnitus, dizziness, insomnia, and severe stomach cramps with diarrhea.
Crucial detail: The symptoms explode massively in the phase between ovulation and my period (around cycle day 7 it already starts getting worse, ovulation is usually around day 20). It feels like it is getting worse day by day instead of better.
My Question to you:
Since I stopped the MVM-A supplement in November, I suspect my mitochondrial stores ran completely empty over the winter, leaving my body with zero energy to buffer the recent infections and fever.
The supplement contained: N-Acetyl-L-Carnitine (100mg), Taurine (83mg), Alpha-Lipoic Acid (40mg), L-Glycine (8mg), Boron, Magnesium (Malate, Glycinate, Citrate), Zinc, Vitamin C, D3, K1, and various B-vitamins.(I only continued taking pure Q10, pure Magnesium, and Melatonin as single supplements).
- Do you think I am severely crashing because essential mitochondrial co-factors (like Carnitine, ALA, or Taurine) are missing to handle the post-viral inflammation?
- Should I start taking these specific ingredients as pure single supplements (monopreparations) to avoid raising my B6 and Selenium again?
- Has anyone experienced such a brutal crash after almost 2 years of being mostly stable? Did you recover from it and reach your baseline again? How long did it take?
- My doctor (Dr. Pieper, Germany's leading FQAD expert) is unreachable due to the holidays/overload until next week, and I am standing with my back to the wall.
Please give me some hope. I am so scared that this is permanent damage now. Thank you so much.
