Careers for low vision, “customer service” oriented?

Hi all.

I am legally blind and have worked in entry-level customer service for a while.

Yet as of late, I’m struggling to find a place to go forward with for a more viable long-term employment. Maybe even career.

About me; I have a lot of experience in food prep, as well as customer service. I have mastered every area in my workplace and keep striving to learn more, as well as I am used for training others.

I also work hard to create bonds with co workers and customers and am usually used to rectify service errors and communicate with unhappy customers. I enjoy solving problems and giving people the time of day.

I take great pride in finding a way. I also love to be busy.

Some careers I’ve considered included:

- Nursing Home Dietary Aide
- Nursing Home PSW
- Child and Youth Worker
- Therapist

I’m open to any ideas including schooling. Whatever you guys yourselves have figured out, even if not related.

Any ideas, any avenue I haven’t considered, I’m very open to.

Thank you for your time.
