Idle Time concern in Carvana return window…?
Full disclosure, I’ve had at least 7 different trucks over my lifetime and I’ve never heard of “idle time” when I went to buy used. Well, I just bought a 2023 ram 1500 gasser crew cab 4x4 and the idle hours total is…like 60% of the total hours. I purchased from Carvana and I’m well within my “return window “, so I can still “adjust” my purchase, but it literally checks all the boxes…besides the ungodly idle hours. I’m taking it in to get a pre purchase inspection tomorrow morning, so I can at least get a clean bill of health/peace of mind there…but reddits always the truth heh. Am I making too big a deal about it, or should I exchange it, pay a few grand more and get a lower idle version that may not have the features I want (tow package being the biggest)
