I have an 89 saber darth maul hilt (the double bladed TPM version) and I want to weather it to make it look cooler right now it looks shiny (not overly shiny though because finger prints aren’t visible) but it’s still sort of chrome I was wondering if I were just to use sand paper would that be enough to weather a hilt as I don’t like the texture paint gives off and I don’t want the paint to break down and wear off as I spin these sabers a lot any advice?
